It is a matter of degree. If your parents quarrel sometimes that is pretty normal. If they quarrel all of the time that is a problem. Now if they separate the quarreling will stop but the whole money thing changes because now they are both paying for a separate household. You, as the kid, can expect to have less because of it. I'm just saying that you need to step back and take a hard look at what is going on. Is it really that bad and would it be better for everyone if thay divorced or, is it not so bad after all. Either way you need to talk to one or both of your parents and let them know that this is a problem for you.

Only you can truly answer why you would still be there. It could be the feeling of comfort and security, could be convenience, could be that you are afraid of being alone and are settling for this particular person until you think someone better will come along. If you feel this way let go and take time to yourself and gain as well as enjoy your independence - find out why you would settle and sort out your feelings, learn from behaviours.

I know that you are only trying to be friendly but if he still wants to be more than friends and you don't want to then you need to talk to him about it and tell him that you don't feel comfortable with the way he is asking you to send him the "nasty texts" as he calls them and if he is willing to stop then great, but if he is not, then honey, it's not gonna work.

Not quite clear what you are asking but if you are asking when you break up for awhile do you stay friends well that depends on the reason(s) you are taking your break or being apart.

He would have to prove you are an unfit mother which is not easily done at times. You would be wise to seek legal counsel to know what your rights are. If the parents have joint custody some children may often play one parent against the other to gain material items and are often out of control because of it (no solid leadership to grow up to be mature; selfless or confident.) Grandparents in the family also suffer because sometimes they may not get to see their grandchildren or, one of the parents may move out of town or go to another country altogether.

He doesn't want you but also does not want someone else to have you as well as being able to have his cake and eat it too as you are allowing him to treat you the way he is - meaning he still gets you and is allowed to date this other person. It would be in your best interest to keep your distance from him and take time for yourself, let go and move forward as it seems he is using you for his own selfish needs and cannot commit to one person at this time. Don't allow him to treat you like this - you deserve better.

She gave you a line. Maybe she dumped you because she wanted to date the guy she's with now. Or maybe she really didn't want a boyfriend but then she fell madly in love with her current boyfriend. Then again, maybe not. It's hard to tell what goes through others minds. If she doesn't want to be with you anymore then why is a pointless thing to worry about. You can't change how other people feel and you're better off trying to move on. There's someone out there for you somewhere. You could always try asking her for the real reason for her dumping you, but I wouldn't be obsessive about it, because that would be creepy and just validate her reasons (whatever they may be) for dumping you.. What she probably did was try to let you down easily and not hurt you. If they got together a while after you broke up, she might've not wanted a boyfriend then but liked him later. But if not, my first answer was probably the most legit reason.
