If there was some bad situation that initiated the not talking, then you should address the issue up front. Having somebody talk to you after you they stabbed you in the back or whatever unavoidably brings suspicion. You have to start talking first.

However, if you just grew apart, ask how they're doing, where their life is going, and about any significant events that have happened in their life.

If you feel it to be necessary, let them know you miss talking to them.

Still smoke and drink if that's what you want, but still give plenty of attention to the girl. But you would give attention to the girl because you like or liked her. then if you want you can still smoke and drink but you can kit it down some.

I would say just leave him no matter how much you love him. He is not loving you. Love means understanding and caring the person whom you love and finding happiness in them. You are doing that but your boyfriend considers you as his property and not love. Thats why he is threatening. You may be heart broken for sometime now but later you will realize you did a good thing in not going ahead in relationship with him. Your lover should respect you and your independence and your way of life. If you change the way of life by yourself then good, better than changing for his threats.

The word 'ex' means you are no longer dating that person and it's healthier to move on. Of course nothing has changed because he is having everything his way and gets the fringe benefits of an actual relationship without any commitment. You hold the key to this problem. If you don't believe the fact he doesn't love you and that he is using you then have the guts to really break it off with him by confronting him and telling him you want to commitment and if he can't give that then to move on. By allowing him to treat you the way he does he has no respect for you and I am sure you have little respect for yourself. Stand solid on both feet and give the best you to can to others as well as respect, but expect it back! In this case you aren't getting either so it's time to move on.

Unfortunately the only specific signs would be contact, conversation - very obvious ways that he is trying to keep you in his life. If you do not see any specific effort on his part then chances are he is definitely not ready let alone considering at this point. There is no time limit on someone that is trying to deal with issues and you cannot put your life on hold or have your hopes up for what may never happen. It is obvious he is not interested at this time and it would be in your best interest to move on.

Well it depends on why you want to dump them. There are a whole lot of possible things to say when you are breaking up with someone. The first one be the quick and to the point one which is, "I'm breaking up with you". But that one would make them follow up with, "Why?" So just tell them that you are breaking up with them and in the process explain why you are doing it, I'm sure you won't be hurting their feelings as much when they know why you are breaking up with them.

Go back to the old friends and explain why you "dumped" them and say that its ok if they don't wanna be friends again, but you would really like it.

The best advice I could give u is to give him his space....depending on the situation I suggest to let him talk to you at his own pace because Scorpio men hate it when someone tries to pry their way into their mind and questions them so if you've been dating for awhile and y'all have history then he'll come around but DON'T force him to come to you!! I don't think most of us can define love (never been done in history yet.) This man is very fearful of commitment. He's probably a very good man, confused, and what you have to tell him is "This sort of relationship isn't good enough for me and we have to talk and decide what we are going to do about it." You aren't giving him any reason to fight for your affections. Many men are afraid of commitment, so yes, it makes sense .. he's going through a battle within his own mind. He loves you, but for some reason he's afraid to get too serious and there are reasons so you have to communicate and help him through these fears if you love him. Either he loves you and your relationship continues or you have to move on and find someone that does love you and is not afraid of commitment. There's no no "how can you" about it. It is "if you do" (which you obviously don't)... Give the chick a break, they are more trustworthy than us guys. If you don't trust her try discussing it with her. it's no big deal.
I guess it depends on what she is doing on her vacation? Is she with family and asks guys to come along? Is she on vacations alone and asks guys to come with her? If she speads a lot of time on the beach with guys in skimpy outfits, this is not good. If she goes to the mountains and takes long walks with them and sits in front of a fire talking, beware.

simply put, he is a jerk who is trying to discredit you so that your "mutual friends" will want to hang out with him more and you less. Don't get defensive to you friends because they are the ones caught in the middle. Just say to them, "well, let him feel mad if it makes him feel better. I have better things to do with my time than to worry about someone I am not even with anymore." Then don't talk about him anymore. Let him be the jerk and you will come out smelling like roses.
