If someone tells you that, they are not in love with you and don't want to hurt you, so that is the kind way to "break up" with someone. If somthing specific didn't happen, chances are, they have met someone else who has gotten their attention and had sparked a flame. Of course this is my opinion to your question, but I feel I have been in enough relationships and have known so many people in relationships in my 41 years. I am very confident in my answer. well, its gonna be hard, because i went through it, but dont even bother to continue loving this person, because he/she is not worth it. if they didnt see the quality in you and fall in love with u then, then ur too good for them!

Its easy you just get on with it , I got divoced and was left with 4 children and I'm an better person for it. Doesnt matter being a single person you will bring your child up in a stable setting rather then what you had and your child /children will thank you for it mine did

NO! DO NOT write no expectations! Im guessing its not you who did the breaking up. Its good that its ended on good terms, and i think its a good idea to send a card but a simple happy birthday will suffice. No expectations means that you have thought about it way too much and he or she will realise this.. realise your possibly not over them? And make it even more awkward and embarressing for you. Generally, you'd be looking for your ex's friend. i think that you should hold your head up high and continue with your life.if he sees that look of hurt in your eye.hell know it hurts you .you have to let em go and continue ion with your life.

* Like it or not he is the father and should be in your child's life if he wants to be so you could get help to seek legal counsel for joint custody of your child.
