Change the front signal bulb 2003 cadillac cts?

The large piece of floppy plastic covering the bottom of the car behind the bumper and part of the wheel wells must be partially removed to gain access. The quickest access is through the wheel wells. Follow these steps:

1. Turn the wheels as far to the opposite side of the car as they will go to improve access.

2. The plastic sheet is held by 3 plastic fasteners at the front of wheel well. They are made of two pieces, with a center pin that expands the outer piece after it inserted. Use a sharp screwdriver to pry the center pin out. (have good lighting and your bi-focals on so you can see the notch where the screw driver goes.) With the pin out, the fasteners will almost fall out.

3. Remove the fastener on the bottom of the car closest to the light.

4. With the plastic sheet loosened, you can reach in from the wheel well and access the turn signal sockets. They are removed and reinstalled with a quarter turn.

5. The lamps pull out of the socket and push back in. You will have to get both hands into the work space because the wires are too short to pull the sockets all the way out.

6. Reinstall the sockets with a quarter turn.

7. Reinstall the plastic sheet, then the fasteners by pushing the outer part through the holes. Push the center pins all the way in to secure.

By the way, brake/tail light bulbs, which have two filaments, will work in place of a turn signal bulb, using only one of the filaments.

Where is the oil filter located on a 1996 Dodge Intrepid 3.5L LS?

It is on the left (drivers side) of the engine near the front. You can access it pretty easily from under the car and you can even get an old filter wrench (band type) on it if you have the flexible handle. If you jack the driver side of the car up about 6 inches (be sure to use a jack stand before crawling under the car) you will find both filter and drain plug easier to access. Be careful of the sensor that is just to the left of the filter as it is very close to the filter.
