you put the positive (+) side of the jumper cable on the nut under the red plastic cover that is under the hood on the passenger side and the negative (-) on any nut or bolt on the engine

There is a fuse box under the back seat. (You'll find the battery there too, by the way) Check fuse #23 (15A) for cigarette lighter and fuse #14 (20A) for additional power outlets.

I have a 2001 Cadillac DHS. It is located under the back seat . You have to pull the seat portion up and out toward the back of the front seat. There are two litte black flat points about three inches wide that slip behind the back part of the rear seat backs. It is kind of like a up and out motion. The battery is large and heavy...you may have to take the seat completely out to get to the battery. If you have heated rear seats there is small connection you may need to disconnect to free up the seat for removal. Simple disconnect. It is a wire length connection on the rear passenger side close to the exit door threshold. The battery has a rubber type hold down ...but the the real securing point is the plastic block that is bolted down...you have to remove the block with a socket to release the battery completely. Seat goes back in that same motion just....slip the black points under the back of the seat and push back and then down. Hope this information is helpful.

You need to remove the glove box and then you will see the actuator. The glove box has about 6 hexagon screws which are simple to remove. However reaching the actuator is another story. Good Luck!

The DTS name is an acronym for "DeVille Touring Sedan". The name was shortened when the DeVille underwent some revisions in style and power. The DTS debuted in 1995.

Pushing the "OFF" button, and the "WARM" buttons TOGETHER, will read the codes. Pushing the "OFF" and "HI" buttons TOGETHER to clear codes. Assumingthe cause of the light initially to come on, was corrected, the light should go off. Good luck

You must remove the front bumper to access the headlight.

A dealer must do this. It's a HID headlamp. It's a few hundred dollars if it's the lamp. It could be the transformer or something else. ($500.00 for entire unit)

Lift up the back seat from the front. There are two holds, one under each seat, just lift up and they will go right back in when finnished. After getting the seat up you can see the battery.

Some what but if you have a large hair dog, you need to filter each return vent to keep dander out of furnace ducts

I assume you mean via remote. There is a solenoid on the trunk release that when activated by a relay pulls the release. The key when turned mechanically pulls the release.

Temp blend door actuator is bad on the passenger side assuming you want both sides to blow cold air.

is the check engine light on? if not then i would start with a tune-up (spark plugs & wires fuel filter air filter pcv valve), i believe that's a Distributor less ingition system so no cap or rotor. also a throttle body service is probably needed. good luck!

On the reservoir towards the rear of the engine compartment, passenger side. You will see the plastic reservoir sitting on top of the wheel well.

You have 4 plugs in the front and 4 on the back of engine, you have to remove the core pack first then remove the plugs, its a really easy job on the front side, but very difficult on the back side.

DTS stared out as the top luxury and performance trim level on the 2000-2005 Deville. In 2006 Cadillac re-designed the Deville and simply called it DTS, to go along with the STS. (DTS stands for Deville Touring Sedan, and STS meant Seville Touring Sedan)

The inside air filter on a 2006 Cadillac DTS is changed by opening the access panel under the glove compartment and pulling the filter. A new filter can then be put in place and the panel closed.

The battery is located under the rear seat (passenger side).

On my 2002 the ABS system stopped working. You still have regular brakes you just don't have ABS.

just unplug it but do not have the car on. Also you will have to get it programed.
