Where is the blower motor relay or the blower control module which ever it has on a 94 fleetwood No fire going to the blower motor?

The module is located in the ducting for the heater and is accessed from the passenger area of the front seat. I think it is just under the dash but you may have to remove the glove box. it is a rectangular item held in with four screws. and should have two connectors going to it. You have to be sure to get the right replacement however I have used one from a buick and since the plugs were the same I made it work by modifying the mounting.

Why does a 1979 Cadillac Fleetwood power seat not work?

Check the Power Seat Switch first to make sure it is working.

Next use a test light to make sure the switch is getting power.

It could be that the gears under the seat that move the seat are stripped.

If the gears are stripped I would take the whole seat out of the Car and replace the Frame that the Seat bolts on to and the Gear Box is attached to the frame also.

I did not have no luck trying to replace the Gear Box by itself.

How do you replace the thermostat located on a 1985 Cadillac Fleetwood?

Start by draing the coolant from the radiator.(There is a drain valve on the bottom.)Follow the upper rad hose from the radiator to the engine, where it meets the engine is a bulb shaped aluminum housing that is held down with two bolts. This is the thermostat housing. Remove the bolts and gently pry the housing away from the engine. You do not need to remove the hose. inside the housing you will find the thermostat. Pull the thermostat out of the engine and drop in the new one. You will also need to replace the gasket between the housing and the engine.(usually comes with the new thermostat) Good Luck!

How do I know if my 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood brougham RWD ac compressor is locked up or just needs freon?

The belt has been squaling for the last 2 days.

This morning the compressor pulley locked down and ruined the belt.

The belt started smoking.

It was blowing hot air and I am sure needed freon before this.

I took off the serpentine belt and tried to turn the pulley on the compressor.

It is locked down tight.

Was there a safety feature on these compressors when they got low on freon, to lock down like this and not turn to prevent burning them up?

Would refilling the system with 134A kick it back on?? I did notice the 10 amp fuse blew as well, replaced it and nothing changed.

Or is it time for a new compressor?
