If you eat a lot of sticky candy and afterward don't brush your teeth, then it is bad (for your teeth). This provides leftover food for bacteria to feast on. When they are eating the left over food they produce a type of acid. It is this acid that ruins your teeth. On the other hand if you eat candy at a normal amount a week and brush your teeth often you should be fine. But the refined sugar in the candy can lead to weight gain.
