Depends on the species. Red eared sliders can grow to about a foot and other sliders can grow a simular size. Many painted turtles will grow about nine inches (however southern painted turtles usually stay slightly smaller). Sea turtles (which are not really available in the pet trade), most species of snapping turtles, and most species of tortoises grow many feet long. Unlike mammals, male turtles stay smaller than female turtles so they generally make better pets. The smaller the turtle the less space, time changing tanks, food, etc. it consumes. Musk turtles, male map turtles, and male painted turtles tend to be the smaller adult turtles.

Some turtles do like bubbles. Since they do not always know what it is they snap at it thinking it is food.

No, they do not have fleas, however reptiles can get mites, which are similar to fleas, if you see small bugs on your tortoise try soaking it in warm water for a little while.

Its like asking why cheerleaders stack on top of each other. They do it for fun and entertainment. So do the turtles. Then again it depends on the number,, two or three turtles could mean something else. Just look into it if they are your turtles stacking on top of each other.

What is necessary is sperms of male turtle . So if there is presence of undamaged sperms in surrounding water then female can be fertilized .

Turtle may have impacted matter in its colon or may have swallowed something that is blocking passage of material through its intestines. If it's a natural blockage, a half-hour soak in comfortably warm water could help. If this doesn't help, the turtle will need to see a vet right away.

Hibernation is during the winter, estivation is just like hibernation but in the summer and migration is when the move to different locations. So Im pretty sure that turtles hibernate during the winter and some turtles estivate during the summer if it is too hot.

That depends, if you have a twenty gallon tank (too small, but just for example) you should have a filter that can filter 20 gallons efficiently. I would recomend a whisper power filter, it tells you how big of a tank it should be in. (For a 20 gal. it will say on it "20".) hope this helps :)

What kind of turtle is it? Turtles like painted turtles and slider turtles should be fine. But turtles like musk, mud, or soft shell turtles would have trouble reaching the surface to breath. Do some research on your turtle and find out what their habitat should be. Deep or shallow.
