This depends on the Queen. Some cats will be back on heat immediately after and others will not come back on call for weeks afterwards. This is why it is ideal to spay the mother cat as soon as the kittens are weaned, or kept indoors and away from any male cats to prevent her getting pregnant immediately afterwards. Kittens around six to eight weeks old start taking an interest in their mother's food, so can start to be introduced to solid food as this is around the time they start to be weaned off the mother's milk. It is unlikely your older neutered cat has suddenly developed the urge to spray urine everywhere to mark his territory, unless another uncastrated tom has wandered into the area and is marking the territory. I would suspect your cat has a urinary problem and that he is not able to make it to the litter box in time. You should talk with your vet about this, and about what cleaning products are available to get the smell of cat urine out of the furniture.

Another answer that you could describe a meow as is a plea? or maybe from a kitten it could be a way to get attention, the last persons answer was good also.

There is no way to describe the meow of a cat as we cannot duplicate it accurately as Humans. We cannot scientifically find anything about how a cat meows as if we cut them up they would be dead and wouldn't meow anymore.

Yes, they will become defensive when that person is again present.

Cats do NOT pant in order to lower their body temperature as dogs do. Cats DO pant if they are very, very frightened. Stroking the cat usually calms them down, although they might be a bit defensive. But if the cat keeps panting to where they are hyperventilating and/or seem to be gasping for air --- if you can see their belly moving up and down indicating that they are working hard to breathe --- then its time to get them to a vet, fast!

As you might be knowing felines hate water. But as it has lots of fur you should groom and shampoo it regularly. Brush it at least once every day. But, as your pet is an indoor cat, it might not be getting too dirty. Therefore, I suggest you should shampoo it once a week.

I have an older ginger male stray who we took in when he was (approximately) 8 years old... he's since been fixed, but still attempts to mount a younger girl cat we have when she's on heat. Gotta give him points for trying :)

If it is an unspayed female cat, she is in heat. If you do not want kittens and male cats are circling the house, bring her inside and keep her there. This will pass in a few days. Cats can go into heat as early as 4 months.

Cat's don't cry like humans do. If a cat's eye tears, then the duct might be blocked, or perhaps an infection.

if it is bored then you should probably spend more time with it and so it will treat you as a companion but if not then you should try getting more toys

only get it a companion if you are sure its going to improve its behaviour because it might cause rivalry between the two - but they might become the best of friends as well
