Yes as long as you provide it food & water and a litter box. I know people who have kept their cat in a single room for long periods of time, but it isn't very healthy for the cat.

Ahhh .. there is only one way to really find out. Set up a video camera and record for a few hours. (Make sure that there is food, water, and a kitty litter box in the room you choose to see what your cat might be up to when you're not around!)

The only way I know to get rid of wild cats is Coyote urine or any animal urine that is larger than a cat. It keeps them from coming around and from spraying your yard. You can Buy it at Hunting stores.

To me, the stench of the larger animal`s urine would stink as much as the tomcat`s urine (If that is what you`re worried about.) So my answer would be, get a good watchdog. If not, then try and build something the tomcat would be afraid of to scare it away. Be creative!

Cats will respond in a variety of ways. The most appealing for many people is when cats purr. My cat very definitely has pain when she is in heat. Similar to female cramps. It is not just a horniness reaction like I have read elsewhere. She keeps her abdomen close to the ground and will allow a gentle rubbing of the upper area where her ovaries are if she isn't in too much pain. kittens as they progress in age it's easier to tell between a boy or a girl, also if you didn't know when kittens progress in age they show their personality more so you can tell what they like to do for example liking to hide. They purr to show that they are happy and content. They may also purr when they are sick, scared, or in pain. Some people believe it is a self calming action.

Your HR dept. is best equipped to answer this for you, but a good place to start would be to remind the employee of their job description and point out where they are falling short. The number of years a house cat lives varies. The average age of a house cat is between 10 and 15 years.

I wouldn't know why an outdoor cat would lick dirt and rocks but if it's an indoor cat and they haven't been outside in awhile it's because it smells wild and like the outside world. Everytime I bring a flower inside my cat loves to smell it and sometimes even tries to eat it.

My sister has 4 female cats - 2 prefer the litter box which is next to the toilet and the other 2 prefer the toilet. She didn't do anything other than leave the seat up all the time as was her habit, and was pretty surprised when she figured out what was going on (she's the only human in the house, and was pretty sure she was flushing consistently) :-D.

Also, my cousin's cat started using the toilet when the basement door leading to her litter box was accidentally left closed for a prolonged period of time.

So, I don't know how to train them to use the toilet, but I think it's possible. Don't know if it's significant that these are all females, and surprisingly, all 3 of the cats with toilet preferences were over age 9 when they started!

Well, I'm pretty sure about this!

Cats are only kind if you raise them right. Like children if you don't raise your child right it might become a serial killer. But with cats they might be mean, horrid and ruin your house or even run away. I type this trough experience and with a big "I think so anyway" in my head.

Ill cats may stop eating. They often lose weight (the first sign of illness usually). They may sleep more, especially if the tumor causes anemia. Anemia will cause them to sleep near or on a heating vent or register.

Right after surgery, most cats are feeling pain and nausea associated with the anesthesia and procedure. The kitten is hissing because it is warning its mother that it wants to be left alone.

Some people like to leave out a bowl of dry food as cats will nibble periodically during the day and some people don't like to as it might contribute to weight gain. I personally have had cats for over 20 yrs have have had no problems leaving dry food out. Make sure your cat/s have plenty of fresh water if you do.

Have you taken your cat into your Veterinarian to have it checked out first? Do not administer antibiotics without your Vet checking out your cat first. Penicillin is not normally the antibiotic of first choice for a cat.
