How can you tell if the heads are cracked on a 3.8 3800 Series 1995 Camaro?
A compression test would be the easiest way to determine. If you have little or no compression in two or more adjacent cylinders, you either have a cracked cylinder head or a blown head gasket.

How do you take out the steering column locking plate on a 1977 camaro?
Once you get past all of the other parts and get to the locking plate, the plate itself needs to be pushed back either with a special tool or simply some other person pushing it back. The latter option requires fairly strong fingers. Once the plate is pushed back a hog ring is revealed that must be removed (possible with a small flathead) so the locking plate can slide off.
400 gph, 45 psi
Why does your 85 Camaro 2.8 run rough?
Well my 1985 Sport Camaro idled very funny, it had to be revved up to keep it running and sometimes it would idle perfectly, and the motor's idle would fluctuate going up and down. It turned out to be caused by a MAP sensor, it's located under your distributor cap.
Whats involved in a engine swap from 97 camaro 6-cylinder 5 speed to 94 camaro 8-cylinder auto?
price of engine + transmission + ECU + clearance issues + labor + a bazillion other things = enough to buy a good z28. You'll give the car money and sweat and she'll give you a 14 second 1/4 mile. Whether that's good or bad is up to you.

Then i put a new earls fuel filter under the hood right before the carb. Some people say it wont suck through the stock pump but i have 2000 miles on it and it still works so........

Find the low pressure sensor, it should be near the receiver/dryer if you have one. Pull the connector to the sensor and see if there are connections for two pins. If so, turn on the compressor and briefly jumper the two wires. If the compressor turns on, you either have a bad sensor or low refrigerant. If that isn't the problem, you may have a bad relay, clutch, switch or who knows what without checking it further.

How much horsepower does a 1992 Chevy Camaro RS 305 have?
170 hp at the wheels. if tbi, 185 if tpi
Answer200 hp automatic223 hp manual
another answer
my chiltons manual says 190 for the tbi and 265 for the tpi. GM rates tpi's at capable of 30% gain in horsepower. the was verified by an independent study which said 30% was conservative and they consistetnly pulled 35% gains. with that knowledge a 15 HP gain is not likely. but im pretty sure RS's didnt come with tpi's so you have approx. 190 plus/minus a few.
.. The blanket statement don't use 350 heads on a 305 isn't correct. Many of the heads that came on 350 engines had large combustion chambers and fairly large valves, but some will work great. If you put a set of heads with large chambers on an engine that was set up (piston compression height) for small chamber heads you'd get very low compression, which would cause the engine to run poorly and have less horsepower. If you put big valves on a small engine such as the 305, they won't clear the small bores. The head castings from a 350 would physically fit a 305 block, but in some cases the engine wouldn't run very good. Aftermarket heads are sold with varying sizes of chamber volume and shape, different port volumes, and different valve sizes. A person looking for improved heads for their 305 engine should consult with one of the technicians at Summit racing or other high performance parts outlet about their application. Tell the tech what you will be using the 305 for...

How do the wires hook up to the coil in a 1969 Chevy Camaro with a condenser?
The negative side of the coil is connected to the breaker points and condenser. The posotive side comes from the ignition switch. And the center terminal is connected to the center terminal of the distributor cap. ID REPLACE IT WITH A HEI MUCH BETTER THEN A POINTS SYSTEM.AND IT ONLY HAS ONE POWER WIRE TO HOOK UP.
How do you install a freeze plug in a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro?
You will need to drain the radiator and engine block. Remove whatever is in front of it. With a long punch and hammer knock the plug in sideways and take a pair of pliers and remove it. Clean the surface with a fine grit sand paper. The parts house will have the proper size plug. Put aviation sealer around the plug. Using a special installer you can drive the new plug in. Refill the radiator and you have it done.
What if the car starts and then it wont start again?
Check the transmission fluid level. If it is ok, then the filter may be clogged. If not, then it will need to be taken to a transmission shop.
How do you bypass ignition lock in 1995 Isuzu Trooper?
Hopefully I am not helping you steal a trooper. It is fairly simple to bypass your key. You will need to remove your center cover from the steering wheel (pry's off of mine). You will see a wire in there with a disconnect plug, disconnect that. Remove the upper and lower covers on the steering column. If you have airbags, ensure you disable them. (Disconnect negative battery terminal and wait 30 minutes). Remove the two screws adjacent to the hole for the key. Remove the bolt for the steering wheel. (Make sure you mark the steering shaft and steering wheel so they go back on the same way). Wiggle the steering wheel off or use a steering wheel removal tool. Remove the pin holding the cable on the right side of the steering wheel, then remove the three bolts holding the assembly to the column. Last thing to do is remove the snap ring holding the lock cyl. assembly to the column. Slide it off. You can use a flat head screwdriver to start the vehicle. You will be able to start it without a key and put it into drive, reverse, etc. Hope this helps. I did it on mine tonight (lost my only key, awaiting new set) and it took me about 30 minutes.
