it would depend on what brings on your kids asthma. i am an asthma suffer but only react to dust mites and feathers. ive always keep at lest one dog and have never had any problems.mabey try introducing your kid to a friends dog and see if it has any affect on his/her health before you bring a dog home

Yes. There are long haired chihuahuas mixed with terriers. They look very much like a long haired chihuahua but are slightly larger. They vary in size and can be between 8-15lbs. Mine is about 14 which is on the heavier side.

First of all, you need to research about the chihuahua breed to see i it's the one for you. I have three chihuahuas, and they all got along with my 5 year old standard poodle. Trust me, chihuahuas are a fantastic breed, but make sure it's the right for you. If you have other dogs, keep them away from the chihuahua unless it's under your supervision and controlled.
