What is kanikamo?

Kanikamo, also known as imitation crab meat, is a seafood product made from surimi, which is a paste made from fish, typically Alaskan pollock. It is flavored and colored to resemble crab meat, making it a popular ingredient in sushi rolls, salads, and various seafood dishes. Kanikamo is often used as a more affordable alternative to real crab meat and is enjoyed for its mild flavor and convenient preparation.

When and why did the Chinese came toTrinidad?

The Chinese community in Trinidad and Tobago traces its origin to the October 12, 1806 arrival of the ship Fortitude carrying a group of Chinese men recruited in Macau, Penang and Calcutta. This was the first organised settlement of Chinese people in the Caribbean. It was intended to be the first step in a plan to establish a settlement of free labourers and peasant farmers in what was then a newly-acquired British colony. Royal Navy Captain William Layman suggested that it would be cheaper to establish new sugar plantations using free Chinese labour than it would with African slaves.

What is the spiciest Chinese dish?

i'd say, im not sure as im not Chinese. However some dishes like crispy duck pancakes are less spicy than chilli beef that you get from the Chinese down the road. although my personal fave Chinese dish is vegetable curry, i generally use the sauce to dip my chips in cuz it tastes really good, or if im feeling hungrier, ill dip some prawn crackers in too.

Personally, im not a big fan of Chinese fish dishes, infact i hate all fish. apart from birdseye cod fish fingers if theyre covered in salt and vinegar and ketchup. it kinda takes the taste away i guess.

your probably thinking if you don't like fish, then why do you eat prawn crackers? well tbh i don't think theyre even made with prawns! and also prawn coctail crisps! theyre not even made with real prawns either! or coctail!

Did you know that fish is good for your brain? apperently if you eat loads youll become a right boffin!

It might help you get into the girls high, or the grammar school, because you have to be well brainy to get in there. sept most of them don't generally have a life because theyre so caught up with their school work. although it'll help you get a good husband/wife and earn alot of money when your older, so your quality of life will be better. You might even get a nobel prize if you are really good at science and like do loads of experiments!

well im afraid that's it from me, but if you're ever stuck for what to eat, I'll sure to be of assistance!

What are some cultural characteristics of Chile?

It is unclear if you are asking about characteristics of chile, the pepper, or Chile, the country. Since chile is not capitalized in the question, then, this answer will consider the hot pepper: we Chileheads do believe there are many cultural characteristics! For the most comprehensive information on the web about chiles IMO, I recommend the Graeme Castelton web pages, see related links below.

There is a culture of people who love hot chiles and grow, display, dry, eat, photograph, talk about, share, have "hot luck" dinners, make recipes for, share tips on growing and cooking, and, in the past before there was ready access to some of the more exotic types, there was seed sharing and discussion about where to find them in common locations. They are discussed by these Chileheads similarly to how oenophiles discuss and describe wines with fragrance, flavor, heat levels and complimentary foods for the different varietals.

What is the difference between an egg roll and an imperial roll?

The only difference I find is that "regular" Egg Rolls (EggRolls) generally contain only one meat, such as Pork, Seafood, Chicken or Beef, etc.. While "Imperial" Egg Rolls (EggRolls) contain at least 2, and usually one is Seafood, then the other will be either Pork, Chicken or Beef, etc. One article I read awhile back, (can't seem to locate it right now), it stated "Imperial Egg Rolls were served only to members of the IMPERIAL Palace, while to plain rolls were created for the 'common' people to enjoy this treat..."
