What is 10 year celebration called?

"If your looking for something like gold or silver years, Im afraid there is no such name for 10th anniversary per say. You can call it a miracle or a milestone, these days, because alot of couples dont get that far."

...not true, for weddings. Every year through the 15th has an object or material that is relevant to the anniversary, and then from there it is a symbol for every 5 years. Traditions don't go away just because most couples "don't get that far." It makes these little reminders that much more special when couples DO.

The TENTH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY material is traditionally TIN. In my opinion, it makes it the easiest to remember..."tin" sounds almost like "ten"!

There are both traditional and contemporary materials to symbolize each anniversary, though the contemporary versions sometimes tend to change from time to time. One contemporary material for the tenth anniversary may be diamond jewelry. There are also variations between U.S. and UK material designations by year.

Other years and their traditional symbols are listed below:

2nd Cotton

3rd Leather

4th Fruit/Flowers

5th Wood
