It unbolts fairly simply. There are no coolant passages like a small-block. It does have an exhaust gas passage in the center to bring hot air under the carbureuter for anti-icing and faster warmup. Be sure to blow away any dirt around the sides against the block before removing. The intake gasket is a single piece of large sheet-metal called the "valley pan" that sits under the intake manifold and includes the gasket. You might be able to leave it in place and re-use. I never tried since always removing the heads. You would have to insure no dirt gets between the gaskets and the heads and that the exhaust openings are cleaned. If you remove it, steel bars clamp it to the front and rear of the block. A new valley pan usually comes with installation instructions. I recally using RTV along the edges and a little high-temp (red) RTV around the exhaust holes, but there might have been a tube of sealant in the box. Once I tried adding a special gasket with screens that claimed to breakup fuel drops for better mileage (J.C. Whitney). The extra thickness made it hard to get the bolts aligned. This is also a problem if you mill the heads. In a worse case, you might have to mill the intake manifold to match so the ports still align.

Condition will make all the difference. It could be a couple hundred or many thousands.

I think it should self-bleed, especially if you turn the steering to each extreme where the gear screams. I have replaced the hoses in my 1965 Newport and the pump and steering gear in my 1969 Dart and didn't do anything but refill the reservoir and go. Related items: The pumps often leak because the large O-ring that goes around the cast-iron innards and the sheet metal reservoir get hard. One auto parts had an old repair kit on the shelf with the O-ring. It was in a thin package. Any oil-resistant O-ring (buna-N) should work, but such a large one might be hard to find. Since the oil level is below the top of the O-ring, it should work to make an O-ring from a kit and place the super-glued joint at the top. The power steering hoses use standard SAE flare fittings. I took mine to a hydraulic hose shop in Atlanta (~1998, ~8th street west of Northside) and had new ones made at an amazingly low price (~$6 ea). They are still working.

If it has disc brakes, it must be a 15 inch tire. A 225 or 235 75 ratio will doo. If is has four wheel drum brakes, a 14 inch tire was standard. a 225 or 235 75 will do.

On my 1965 Newport, it is under the dash, near the bottom of the front, above the driver's right knee if I recall. It clips in a metal holder. I would feel for a cylindrical can. I may be confusing with my 1969 Dart which had it there, but I did change the Newport's to one that played "Love me Tender" (drove me nuts), then to a louder one so I recall under the dash, possibly more to the right.

If it still has the original parts that it has before, if it is still running, if the body is still complete, rusted or any, if it is modified or repaired. In 1977, the only one available had a 2BBL carb on it, it was rated officially from Mopar as 195HP@3600RPM and 320lb-ft@200RPM torque.

The rims were original 14 inch, but with factory front disc brakes 15 inch
