If oranges or grapefruit have gasoline poured on them can they still be eaten?
This depends of the time the fruits were exposed to the gasoline, the amount of gasoline ( just poured over them or really soaked in gasoline ) and whether the fruits were complete or cut open. Oranges and grapefruit have a relatively thick protection layer around the consumable parts, so when the amount and duration of gasoline contact in not too extensive then the chemical shouldn't have the time to penetrate into the inner parts. So yes, oranges and grapefruit can still be eaten after ( brief ) contact with gasoline.
Pawpaws (also spelled paw paw, paw-paw, and papaw) grow from a tree and taste like a banana and a mango mixed. My dad found some in Illinois. I lived in southern Illinois on a farm and the fruit was growing wide. They're really good. :)
It can grow in southern Illinois, as well as the Pacific Northwest, California, and other parts of North America. It is the same fruit from the song "picking up Pawpaws row by row."
It looks very much like a short, round banana, but has a large spine of seeds. The seed is thin and round... about half an inch to an inch long by one eighth inch thick and spaced about a quarter of an inch apart or perhaps more. The last one I had was in the early fifties and later I left the area and have had none since.

Do tangerine trees grow from lemon seeds?
No. Tangerines are a form of Orange, whereby Lemons are, well Lemons.
another answerwhile counter intuitive one can grow a tangerine tree from a lemon seed though it isn't very likely. biologicly all citrus fruit are one species meaning they can pollinate each other to produce viable offsprings. so if a tangerine pollen landed on a lemon flower and pollinated it and you sow the seed you will get a tangerine-lemony tree.
