I have had flu symptoms for over a week but for the last 2 days I have had extremely painful upper teeth. Are they related?

It is not likely what you describe is infection with HIV. Questions you want to ask yourself are: Have I had unprotected sex; and do I want to be tested for the virus. Consult with your local health department if you are concerned.

Basically when you are getting a flu shot you care getting a dose of the the virus, be it live or killed. Your body reacts as if it has been infected by the real deal. It begins producing antibodies to recognize and destroy it following the vax and if it ever happens against it again. It usually takes several weeks for your body to go thru this process and to build up immunity.

I don't know exactly what you mean, but diseases can spread to different parts of the body. For example, I had strep throat that spread to my legs and started attacking the muscles. It was difficult to move them, but it went away with antibiotics.

Seasonal flu vaccines carry an H1N1 component, an H3N2 strain and an influenza B strain. The H1N1 component is not the Novel H1N1 strain that is in the swine flu vaccine

Originally in 2009 the vaccine for the pandemic swine flu was a monovalent vaccine, which means it was made to only prevent that one type of flu. Then for the 2010-2011 flu season, a trivalent vaccine was made for the regular flu just like every year. Trivalent means it is made to cover/prevent three different kinds of influenza virus infections. For the most recent flu season in the Northern Hemisphere, the "regular" flu shot contained the vaccine for swine flu and two others. So, the monovalent H1N1 vaccine covered only one type of flu: the pandemic swine flu. But the trivalent seasonal flu vaccines cover three types of flu (one of which, for the 2010 - 2011 flu season, is Swine flu H1N1/09).
