My guess would be a possible kidney infection or a UTI. Get it checked out-a simple urine culture at your Dr.'s office should be able to answer your question
What are the differences between the 1976 H1N1 vaccine and the 2009 H1N1 vaccine?
The ingredients and manufacturing process for the 2009 A-H1N1/09 vaccine are entirely different than those in 1976. Besides the virus strain being entirely different, the method to "grow" it is different, too. For example, the virus is now incubated using chicken eggs as the medium for growth (this is why those with allergies to eggs or chicken proteins should not take the vaccines). Different processes are used to purify and "kill" the live virus for use in the inactivated vaccines used in the injections in the US. The nasal vaccines are also made with weakened ("attenuated") viruses created by using a new process for making them unable to make recipients of that type of vaccine ill.
The 2009 vaccine for "Swine Flu" is made using the same new process and ingredients as the seasonal flu shots have been being made for more than 3 decades now. The process was changed after the 1970's. The seasonal flu vaccines have an extremely low incident rate, with a safety record that is very good. There is no scientific reason to expect any different outcome with the 2009 H1N1/09 vaccinations made the same new way.
The risk of the flu is much greater than risks of adverse effects from the vaccine.
See related questions below for additional information about the ingredients in the 2009 "Swine Flu" H1N1/09 vaccines.
What is also new for the 1009 H1N1 Swine Flu vaccine is that it contains squalene, which is an ingredient that was never approved of in the USA. But the FDA quickly put through an approval for it, so it could be included in the 2009 vaccine. This is vastly different than in 1976 and squalene has been implicated in causing the Gulf War Syndrome. Squalene also causes the human immune system to a hyper reaction where the body attacks itself and sets a person up for auto-immune diseases later. The H1N1 Vaccine was never tested in 2009 for longer than 21 days and it does hold serious side effects such as causing miscarriages in pregnant mothers that were never reported by the CDC.
There is much to worry about -in 2010 as there is virtually no epidemic of swine flu yet the US government has allowed the H1N1 3 viruses to be included in every normal flu shot this year. It is too loaded with dangers to be administered to every person and have never to this day been tested for causing cancer. Buyer beware.
Can a virus catch a virus and become ill?
No, a virus cannot catch a virus and become ill. A virus is a shell of protein containing DNA. A virus works by getting into a cell and "reprogramming it" to multiply and start to take of the organism. A virus cannot infect another virus because viruses are not cells themselves.
permafrost is were every thing is frozen solid and it is always under 32 Fahrenheit all year round out side
What do letters W H O stands for in Swine Flu?
WHO stands for World Health Organization. The WHO is responsible for tracking the progression of the swine flu, and other diseases that have the potential for being transmitted across the entire world.
Well, what you should do is definetely talk to your doctor. You may not actually have to get a check-up, but it would be a great idea to talk to a phisician or nurse, or even the actual doctor over the telphone. Yes, after getting the flu shot, in some rare cases people do experience flu like symptoms, but this is usually nothing to worry about. A flu shot actually administers live, but weakened, bacteria that cause the flu, so that your body can become immune to them, and resist the sickness. This is why, sometimes, when your immune system is down because of some reason, such as stress, other sicknesses, or lack of sleep or nutrition, people can experience the actual symptoms of the sickness to which they got a shot for. Just to be sure, though, talk ot your doctor. Hope this helped! The flu shot is a mild case of the flu along with the antibodies that your body needs to fight it. So in a sense, It is the flu. It will and can cause all the signs and symptoms that your body would normally get, malaise, that general "feel like crap' feeling, elevated temperature, the chills, just all around terrible feeling that the flu causes. All of this is normal. Your body was also given the antibodies in the shot as well so this starts to fight the new flu immediately and gives your body the time to make more. This makes you immune to or less likely to catch it, if exposed to it again later in the flu season.
Why do I get a sore throat when going to bed with wet hair?
I don't know, sorry, but I do too! I looked it up and people said that it's a myth, but I always get a sore throat when sleeping with wet hair! I hate it
Is hot water that has been softened by a water softener OK to drink?
There are two questions here: 1) is it safe to drink water that has been softened by a water softener? 2) is it safe to drink water that has been heated (presumably by a hot water heater) and then passed through household plumbing? Like many things there is some controversy of both of these items. Here are the highlights: 1) water that has passed thru a traditional water softener, known as an ion-exchange softener, has had the Calcium and Magnesium (and possibly other) ions removed by the water softener and replaced ("echanged") by sodium ions if regular water softener salt (sodium chloride) was used in the brine tank or potassium if potassium chloride salt was used in the brine tank. Several research papers on this topic are available at wqa.org (the water quality association). Generally people on low sodium diets are advised to either use potassium chloride in their water softeners or to not drink the softened water from an ion-exchange softener. Some organizations (most notably the world health organization WHO), advise against consumption of softened water on the basis that Calcium and Magnesium are beneficial to health. In some poorer parts of the world, where diets do not contain much Calcium and Magnesium, this is generally considered sound advice. Many people debate this guidance for developed nations where dietary sources of Ca and Mg deliver many times the amount of Ca and Mg that would come from drinking water. 2) generally health experts recommend against consuming large amounts of water that has been heated and passed thru metal plumbing (copper or iron pipes) on the basis that this water may leach harmul substances from the plumbing. (some experts also make this claim for plastic plumbing as well). A common solution for people concerned about drinking water quality is to use a home drinking water system. simple systems using carbon filters will remove some contaminents. Much broader reduction of contaminents is provided by home drinking water systems that use reverse osmosis (many of these RO systems also include carbon filters as well). Basic units are available at hardware stores for do-it-yourself installations while more comprehensive units are available from water treatment companies - many of the same companies who also sell, install and service home water softeners.
Are diabetics more prone to complications from Swine flu?
Yes. They are more prone to problems with all infectious diseases. See the related question below for information on why that is.
Will LSD effect negatively if consumed while having cold and cough?
Honestly, it all depends. I did acid once when I wasn't feeling too well, and I had an amazing trip. Completely forgot I had a cold for most of it (I had quite a bad cold too o.o haha probably sounds dumb that I did it since I had a bad cold). During the peak of my trip me and my friends ran around/chilled in a field (there were lots of puddles and the grass was wet due to rain) and probably an hour after we were in the field I started feeling a little 'bleh' and my trip was weird for about a half hourish (not bad weird, I just noticed I wasn't feeling too good from running around half naked in wet grass, lmfao, when it was kinda chilly out; I didn't feel the cold temperature though 'cause LSD does raise your body temp., I was quite hot actually) I was kinda feeling the cold symptoms while tripping balls, but then we went back outside again and I got completely distracted from my cold for the next 6-8 hours (not too sure how long, tbh. this was months ago, but i tripped hard for a while) and didn't feel sick at all.. But like I said, it all depends.. I've been reading quite a bit about doing LSD while sick, 'cause I am supposed to be consuming it this weekend, but I have a mild cough and that 'itchy' chest feeling, and some people on forums said it didn't really bother them one bit, and some people said it amplified the feeling and they didn't have the best trip. I'd say if you have a mild cold and no weird/strong physical feelings from it - go ahead! If it's your first time, I'd say wait 'til you're feeling better... If you are healthy & in a good mindstate, then what will go wrong? If you are a little sick though, depending on how your mind works when on acid, how you control your trip, and the severity of your cold; it can either be amazing, bad, or anything in between. If you have more than just the common cold - I wouldn't reccomend it at all. Especially if you have a fever, please don't, LSD raises your body temp.
*** Oh yeah, and when I said I was feeling the cold symptoms for about a half hour, it did not feel like a half hour at all.. It felt ALOT shorter than that.. Probably like, 5 minutes? But to some people a half hour while tripping may feel like 5 hours.. Time, atleast to me & alot of other people I've tripped with, does not really exsist on LSD. I definitely feel the absense of it. ***
What is forresteramazazionianzi cold?
Foreresteramazzionianzi cold is a illness like the common cold, spread by people in forest who might have been sick or done something to spread germs. Symptoms may be a non-stop drippy nose, uncontrollable sneezing, and thinking you're a tree. You may blow your nose 5 times a minute.
How many people have died from some other type of flu since the beginning of the swine flu era?
common cold
Why does my throat hurt to the point i can't breathe past it after coughing myself sick last night?
You could well have caught Whooping Cough, or 'Pertussis'. You should see a doctor quickly as this disease can often kill.
Pertussis cases are on the rise because the health community thought it was eliminated, and dropped it from the DTP vaccinations, and giving just the DT shots.
Where does the flu go in the off season?
to a vacation home in Michigan where it plans its mutations for the next season.
What is the best way to prevent a cold after shaking hands with someone who has a cold?
wash you hands with hot water
How many people in Colorado have been infected by the swine flu?
As of 9/21/09, there are 171 cases and 1 death reported for Colorado.
It depends somewhat on the cause and severity of the immune system compromise. In some situations, the recommendation is to wait for a week after the vaccination before being in close contact with some people who are immunocompromised. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention information on the use of the intranasal live attenuated (weakened) vaccines includes the following excerpts:
In clinical studies, transmission of vaccine viruses to close contacts occurred only rarely. The current estimated risk of getting infected with vaccine virus after close contact with a person vaccinated with the nasal-spray flu vaccine is low (0.6%-2.4%). Because the viruses are weakened, infection is unlikely to result in influenza illness symptoms since the vaccine viruses have not been shown change into typical or naturally occurring influenza viruses.
People who are in contact with others with severely weakened immune systems when they are being cared for in a protective environment (for example, people with hematopoietic stem cell transplants), should not get the nasal spray vaccine, including the 2009 H1N1 nasal spray vaccine if they will come into contact with the severely immunocompromised person within 7 days of vaccination. People who have contact with others with lesser degrees of immunosuppression (for example, people with diabetes, people with asthma taking corticosteroids, or people infected with HIV) can get the nasal spray vaccine. The full information at the CDC website about vaccines is available at the link provided in the related links section below.
Is there blood in the H1N1 vaccine?
No. The virus is grown in eggs, weakened or "killed", and then added to a solution with preservatives to make the vaccine. There is no blood.
