Firstly, an organization should start with being respectful of other cultures. By learning about the other culture, the organization will be able to be more effective at communicating.

Secondly, if the organization is really big, it can hire people who are multi-lingual full-time. If it is a smaller organization, it can hire an interpreter part-time.

Dyadic communication is the communication between two persons who interact face to face as senders and receivers. Even telephone conversations come under this type, where two people have a conversation. We can say there are two types of dyadic communications, they are, formal and informal. Formal dyadic communications are serious conversations between family and friends, interviews, confessions or counseling. Informal dyadic communications are chatting between friends and family or lighthearted joking. It is impossible not to communicate, and it is important to remember that not all communication within the dyad is verbal. It is often true that much of our communication is non-verbal. Body language, posture, tone of voice, and facial expressions must also be considered when interpreting messages in dyadic communication or in any other type of communication.

3. Socio-psychological barriers:

There is one more barrier to effective

communication: socio-psychological which

comes out of attitudes, emotions, status,

source of communication, inattentiveness,

poor retention, unsolicited communication,

etc. People attend to stimuli in the

environment in very different ways. We have

shortcuts that we use to organize data.

Invariably, these shortcuts introduce some

biases into communication. Some of these

shortcuts include stereotyping, projection, and

self-fulfilling prophecies. Of these, however,

stereotyping is more common. Similarly, our

perception or preconceived notions on certain

things also affect our understanding.

Communication fails if there are hasty

judgments, refusal to listen to a problem,

distraction, acceptance of words literally, fear

of criticism, day dreaming, impatience,

interruptions, preconceived notions, switching

off, etc.

Seating arrangements can affect communications in many ways. For example, if two very shy people are seated together, communications may be negatively impacted. If a mix of shy and outgoing individuals are mixed together, shy individuals may be prompted to speak up.

Leadership style directly impacts group communication. If the leader is open, encouraging and motivating then the group will respond in the same manner. If the leader is distant, close minded and belittles others then the group will respond in the same way. In my opinion and experience people tend to follow the leader in order to be accepted. For example I think that a charismatic leadership style would promote communication. Charismatic leaders have a vision, they are willing to take personal risks to achieve that vision, they are sensitive to follower needs, and they exhibit extraordinary behaviors. If a charismatic leader can effectively demonstrate these traits and motivate the other members of the group this will make an effective group and other members will catch the motivation that is being portrayed by the leader. The better a leader is at communicating and motivating the better the team will be at dedicating themselves to the task at hand and being motivated to complete the task to the best of their ability.

I am honored to be your host. Now, without farther adieu, it is my pleasure to introduce an icon here at HHS, your principal, Mr. Gladheart, who will be presenting the diplomas and the first speaker.

A script for the remainder of the ceremony will depend on many factors and would need to be written with those factors in mind. It could consist of introducing speakers and calling out the names of the graduates as they receive their diplomas.
