What are you going to do with it? If you need to save space or travel a lot, buy a replacement like a laptop. If you just want to replace your old PC with a new one. Just buy another desktop. If you ALSO want to save space but it will stay at the same place. Buy yourself a desktop AND a FLATSCREEN monitor (TFT).

Dell could or could not be the best. This is an opinion question (whoever asked this). There could be ways that Dell could be better and ways that make it not the best. Some people may think Mac or Apple are the best who knows.

Computers have affected our world in many different ways. We use them for many things in the world now. If we didn't have computers we wouldn't have many things - traffic lights, some of the tills in shops etc. Things that are made in factories are sometimes made by robots - which need to be programed by a computer. Traffic lights are use computer technology ; changing the colours, simple as - but it is more complicated than it seems. If they didn't invent computers then our world would be almost like when we had electricity but no computers - we wouldn't have many different things. I hope this has helped.

As of my experience and information from battery manufacturers the average life span of batteries is around 18 months or more if used properly.

Battery life very much dependent on the charge/discharge cycle and usages, here are few tips to increase your battery to last longer (cell phones, mp3 players or laptop)

1. Charge battery when it is drained (not deep discharge)

2. Turn off unused hardware specially wireless (such as wifi, blue tooth)

3. De-fragment you hard disk regularly (laptops)

4. Screen brightness should be kept lower

5. Close un-necessary applications while you are mobile with your laptop as it will also give you long backup.

Yes it is better but buying it would cost more than a HP G61-429. The 1545 has a dual-core 2.3GHz processor while the G61 only has a 2.1GHz single core. Also it depends on what you're doing with your pc .If it's for gaming I would get the 1545 but for office work, since you don't need the extra processing speed, you could get the G61 and save some money.

Neither is very good. HP offers a better Operating System (in my opinion), and Apple offers better hardware. It depends on what you want more. I would try Sony, Samsung, Dell, or Toshiba.

My Opinion:

As someone who owned 2 HP computers with Windows XP & Vista installed and who has now owned an Apple iMac for the past 4 1/2 years I can honestly say without hesitation that I will never ever own anything but an Apple computer. 4 1/2 years of trouble free computing all the while not running one piece of security software. I have not had one glitch on my iMac. It just works day in and day out. Apple is by far the better built computer and I like all the software and the Operating System much better than anything Windows has ever produced. Easy to use and easy to learn.

Yes, I used to a own a HP laptop with Windows 7 home premium 220GB hard drive, 2GHz CPU and 2GB memory, it is really reliable as long as you don't run or download large task programs such as game files or video files (1 hour+), it runs very smoothly. I would recommend getting an HP laptop with a screen size that is bigger than 15.6in....the bigger the more superior the quality.

It runs fast as long as you don't download too much stuff, of course I'm not speaking for all the HP laptops just the 2GB version and 4GB version. You can't find jack squat online, you should go into the actual store to check out the product you're buying.

BTW, avoid all the "negative trolls" they spam pages with their constant hate for certain computer or tablet products.

In conclusion: HP computers are good, don't let anyone tell you otherwise just because they were unhappy with it.

(I'm using a Toshiba laptop that I bought it for $300 more than I did with the HP laptop... and it has the same quality, the same speed and the same performance, Toshiba is practically HP in disguise.).

Mac computers are better than Sony computers.

Oh that is so lame you are supposed to justify ur answers. I will tell you why, it's all in the operating system since Microsoft has more users they are prone to more viruses. however there are no viruses for mac. Also Mac is innovation Steve Jobs is a true artist. Every one of his machines is a work of art furturistic, creative, fun, leader in technology if you do not believe me guess who invented the mouse yes yes apple and the graphical user interface windows was still using command prompt. they are copy cats mac has iPod PC has Zune players who cares about zune do u even noe wat a zune is, I am sure not however u noe what an iPod is apple.
