In windows, ideally one would hold alt and type Using their number-pad for everything but the [c] key in the following: +30C4.

However a registry setting is required. There are also other alternatives for those who use laptops or keyboards without number pads.

Please note, not every program or text entry field supports the input of Unicode characters. In many cases a "?" or a " " (or nothing at all) will be displayed when entering a Unicode character into a text field that does not support it. One way to check is to copy and paste the character into the program or text field, if visible, you will likely be capable of typing it into the program should you have a sufficient method to do so.

On Windows XP Pro I was able to type the symbol,

by holding an [Alt] key,

pressing the number-pad [+] key,

This goes back to when people used typewriters, a man named Christopher Sholes did not like when he had type bar problems (When two different letter 'arms' got tangled) so he made a new typewriter layout which has been nicknamed, the QWERTY keyboard. Christopher Sholes was a newspaper editor and printer who lived in Milwaukee.

The reason computers have QWERTY keyboards is because the most used letters are right there for you to type. If we had an ABC keyboard it would overwork some fingers and underwork others. Therefore the keyboard would not be as efficient as a QWERTY keyboard. Also, typing would get tiring.

I have been using Baquacil for 18 years in an in-ground pool. I used chlorine in an above ground pool prior. The cost difference is obvious. Starting off new, Baquacil is very expensive. As the years go on, the cost of the sanitizer drops dramatically because of the baquacil buildup in the water. You dont have the chlorine smell and the eye burning. I recommend washing the baquacil from your hair since the hair tends to get heavy after swimming. Foaming is also a problem with baquacil. I still prefer baquacil and intend to use it after I install a new liner next year.
