Why flash memory is non volatile in nature?

Flash memory is what is called RAM/ROM it is both RAM ( Random Access Memory ) and ROM ( Read Only Memory ). Flash memory can be used to store data, but has a limited number of writes before the memory "forgets that it exists."

ROM is the same thing as a hard disk's memory. It's in a solid state when the power is off. ( Stored as a magnetic charge. )

What is Difference between internal ram and external ram in 8051?

Internal Ram in 8051

the 8051 includes a certain amount of on-chip memory. On-chip memory is really one of two types: Internal RAM and Special Function Register (SFR) memory.

External Ram in 8051

As an obvious opposite of Internal RAM, the 8051 also supports what is called External RAM.

As the name suggests, External RAM is any random access memory which is found off-chip. Since the memory is off-chip it is not as flexible in terms of accessing, and is also slower. For example, to increment an Internal RAM location by 1 requires only 1 instruction and 1 instruction cycle. To increment a 1-byte value stored in External RAM requires 4 instructions and 7 instruction cycles. In this case, external memory is 7 times slower!

What will happens if you put a DDR400 Memory in a DDR333 Maximun DIMM?

Your motherboard might be able to 'clock back' the DDR400 to DDR333. This means that the DDR400 ram will reduce it's clock speed to DDR333 to be compatible. Not all motherboards support this though.

What OS can you use on a graphite clamshell ibook PowerPC G3 366Mhz 64MB built in RAM and 256 J12 RAM no firewire?

That model is officially supported up to OS X 10.3.9 (Panther) It supports OS 9, 9.1, 9.2, 10.0, 10.1, 10.2, and 10.3 10.4 can be loaded via Xpostfacto (a hack), but the lack of a DVD drive or firewire makes the installation difficult (not many 10.4 install CDs floating around). With 320MB RAM, it should run 10.3.9 OK (assuming it has at least a 6GB HDD). Note that if the hard drive is greater than 8GB, OS X should be on a first partition of less than 8GB.

Why cash memory is faster then main memory?

Primary memory is faster to access because it is wired directly to the processor. It is used by the system to perform operations while programs are running. Examples are cache, RAM, and ROM.Secondary memory is usually somewhat slower and is used for permanent storage of information. Examples are hard disks, floppy disks, CDs, DVDs, flash memory, etc.
