You cannot get a pear laptop. Though the pear laptop has been seen on popular TV programs, it is imitating Apple, but the program would get sued for using Apple on the program, so they slappped a pear skin on apple products so Apple couldn't sue the program. They are not available anywhere. Even if you could get a pear laptop, it is just a stage prop; it will not do anything.

NEVER use any fluids to clean an LCD screen. Use a dry and soft cloth (not paper, it contains wood pieces which could scratch your screen). If this doesn't help, use lightly wetted anti-static monitor wipes ESPECIALLY designed to clean such screens. They are widely available at electronics or office supply stores. Also, on the packaging look for the designation: Safe for Laptops and LCD screens. But always be very careful! You can purchase a cleaning solution from any electronics store, perhaps the one you bought the TV from and this will do the job. Follow instructions on the container. Whatever you do, do not use alcohol based products, it will do some serious damage to your screen over time. Spend 5 bucks and go to the store and buy the cleaners and a really soft rag. Do not use the conventional products like Windex etc. Also make sure your screen is off when you do it for a little while. If you don't, you are heating up the chemicals and making them dry faster. Your screen might not feel warm but it's the reaction of light with the chemicals. Lay the screen flat, too. To keep your screen cleaner longer, try not to touch the screen. To dust it (tissue may leave dust), I use an old draftsman's brush, but a Swiffer duster would likely work as well. The ideal solution is plain distilled water. If more heavy cleaning is needed a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and distilled water can also effective. Manufacturers no longer recommend using any cleaners with alcohol, ammonia or any strong solvents on LCD screens.

Yes. A CRT stands for cathode ray tube. This was the de facto type of display screen for TVs and early computer monitors before the implementation of LCD, LED, and OLED screens later on.

The monitor should connect via either VGA (a large plug with three rows of pins) or DVI (an even larger plug with several rows of pins and one large flat pin). VGA plugs are often blue and DVI plugs are often white. Almost any computer will have a VGA out, many have DVI out.

There are multiple reasons for a screen going black:

A) If your computer is running low on power, it may put itself to sleep just before it shuts off. I have had this happen to my computer tons of times

B) Depending on your settings, you may have your sleep mode set really short. You can easily fix this by going into your control panel and playing with the settings you desire. The computer will go to sleep mode after however many minutes of inactivity it is set for.

C) If there are no lights flashing or anything running with the computer, it is most likely shut down. In this case, find the power button, turn it back on, and enjoy.

D) If you own a separate monitor for your computer and your computer is running, one of the wires may be loose or the monitor itself may not be turned on. Unplugging and replugging wires seems to be a good strategy.
