What is a difference between a panel and a monitor?
Monitors are the old school bulky computer screens which resemble older tvs. A panel is a monitor which is thin and has a flat screen. Regardless of which one it is, any screen used for a computer is considered the monitor.
Difference by the way vdu monitor and lcd monitor?
There is no difference. A LCD Monitor (Liquid Crystal Display) is a type of VDU (Visual Display Unit).
What is the result if you use an input text in php?
$_POST is used see below for how.
Firstly, in your form add a hidden feild:
<input type="hidden" name="hasposted" value="true" />
Somewhere in your form.
Then above the form add the following:
<?php
if($_POST['hasposted'] '1'){ $mycheckbox = true; } else { $mycheckbox = false; }
echo '$mytext ' . $mytext . '<br />$mycheckbox '. $mycheckbox;
}
?>
<form method="POST" action="#">
<input type="hidden" name="hasposted" value="true" />
<label>Textbox: <input type="text" value="" name="mytext" /></label><br />
<label>Checkbox: <input type="checkbox" value="1" name="mycheckbox" /><br />
<br />
<input type="submit" value="Post" />
</form>
I've posted links to W3Cschools with information on these and all other Form Elements.
They allow you to type.
Why lw-crt tv box dot display on flat monitors?
Why lw-crt tv box don't display on flat monitors? They actually try to display but the picture will flicker and disappear.
CRT is "Cathode Ray Tube" and LCD is "Liquid Display Cristal" thus the units were manufactured to specifically produce for CRT monitors not LCD monitors.
LCD monitors have a different resolution and image refresh rate compared to CRT monitors therefore both monitors (LCD & CRT) monitors, compose the picture in different formats.
So the LW-CRT-TV box produce a picture for low resolution monitors that is to say CRT.
Why would the Desktop display upside down on the monitor?
Is it the monitor, the video card or a setting? If you have access to another monitor, plug it in and see if it too is upside down. If that's it, the yolk is installed wrong on the monitor CRT.
What factor that affect crt monitor quality?
A CRT Monitor can support many output resolutions without losing quality of the image. But LCDs only support lower resolutions by interpolating the image, which makes it look "fuzzy".
SPDIF in port in graphic card?
The S/PDIF port is used to connect the graphic card to the motherboard in order to get sound in some systems.
Which to exchange first monitor or video card when not sure either is a problem?
Am guessing your having problems with the monitor...
First check if the monitor's (the screen) has any wires that are damaged, try the monitor on a different computer if the monitor works in a different computer than it could be the video card that is giving you a hard time.
make sure all cables are plugged in correctly and check the video card to see if its damaged or is it properly adjusted in the motherboard, and also check the BIOS settings to make sure the video card is selected.
How are decorative screens used?
Decorative screens can add beauty to a room while serving a purpose. Screens are a lovely way to divide a room or provide privacy. They can also be purely decorative.
What is network monitoring tools?
Network Monitoring Tools calculates the bandwidth utilization, and scans the traffic for errors through SNMP. The tool also provides asset details such as the OS, installed software, and hardware and informs you about the general availability and performance of the network elements.
Discover how easy it is to detect, diagnose, and resolve network problems with Orion Network Performance Monitor (NPM).
Orion NPM is the easiest product of its kind to use and maintain, meaning you will spend more time actually managing networks, not supporting Orion NPM.
Another useful tool is 10-Strike Network Monitor. It helps to monitor all the hosts on the network and detect failures in time.
If you have a smaller screen resolution does the computer run faster?
Yes, because Ram memory is not that busy and also the memory of you graphic card too.
No. You can only have one active video driver at a time. Each video port uses a different driver.
Judging by the standard port, i think you mean the built-in VGA that comes in some motherboards. The answer is no, once a 16x Graphics Card is being used, the motherboard will no longer use that VGA and no connection to it can be made. If your motherboard has another 16x slot, you can insert another Graphics Card and use SLI or Crossfire which will allow you to have multi-monitors. Keep in mind that Graphic Cards that have an HDMI connection and a DVI share the connection. Each graphics card itself can only support two monitors even if it has more then two DisplayPorts. If you want to get a third working monitor, you must get an active passive display adapater for a DisplayPort connection or buy another graphics card which can support two more monitors. Each adapter can support an extra monitor and can only be used on DisplayPorts Graphic Cards.
Will glass plus with jet dry ruin your dlp tv screen?
If your DLP projection TV is anything like my Samsung DLP than no. On mine the screen is a piece of plastic which from the front is flat and the back is designed to better project the image. I have used glass cleaners to clean mine and no problems yet. I would recommend that you spray the cleaner onto the cloth so it doesn't drip down the screen into the electrical components of the television.
flat-panel
How do you get the computer to quit scrolling down when I press space bar?
Try clicking the window that you are working in, that helps sometimes.
How to distinguish a LCD monitor from a LED monitor?
LED displays are much brighter than LCD displays. Increase the brightness of both the displays and check the difference, brighter one will be LED.
LCD displays always require inverters in its hardware components, where as LED's never uses inverter's.
Try to view LED display from different angles , you should be able to see the pictures properly, whereas LCD screens fades the display at different angles.
Does the lag on your computer depend on the monitor?
No. It depends on your processor and the amount of RAM you have.
What types of inputs are available for LCD projectors?
Yes, LCD projectors come with a variety of inputs. Depending on the age or manufacturer's intended use, you'll be able to find LCD projectors available with inputs ranging from VGA and coaxial all the way to Component, DVI and HDMI.
What are the two methods that a hard drive uses to transfer data between itself and memory?
DMA (direct memory access) transfer mode or PIO (programmed input/output) transfer mode
Explain architecture of raster graphic system with display processor?
In random scan display, also called vector scan display,stroke writing or calligraphic.The electron beam directly draw the picture i.e. draw a picture one line at a time.Random scan monitor sketch the picture using vector line.
Refresh rate on a random scan system depends on the number of lines to be displayed.Picture definition is now stored as a set of line drawing commands.In an area of memory referred to as the refresh display file is called the display list,display program or simply the Refresh Buffer.
Random scan display systems are designed for line design applications and cannot display realistic shaded scene.Since,picture definition is stored as a set of lines drawing instructions and not as a set of intensity values for all screen pixels.Vector display generally have a higher resolutions than raster scan.Also vector display produce smooth line drawings.
ADVANTAGES:
1. Very high resolution, limited only by monitor.
2.Easy animation, just draw at different positions.
3.Required little memory.
DISADVANTAGES:
1.Requires intelligent electron beam i.e. processor controlled.
2.Limited speed density before have flicker.
3.Cannot draw a complex image.
4.Limited color capability(very expansive).
How do you hook up computer speakers to a 26av502r toshiba?
Question might be old, but I did the exact same thing. The computer speakers usually have an input for a wire that connects to the pc. U can however, buy headphones to rca adapter, whichever cost anywhere from six to fifteen dollars depeneding whereby go. It's really really simple. The headphones to rcaline will plug right into the back of the tv (not to mention speakers.) O added a lot of bass to my tv with the computer speakers I usedc its pretty sweet now.
The most suitable output device for producing colour brochures cheaply would be?
either a color laserjet or an Hp 8500..
Monitoring tools provides asset details such as the OS, installed software, and hardware and informs you about the general availability and performance of the network elements.
It is the process of checking the computers, systems, and services that comprise a network.
