You randomly get this blue screen and it shuts down with this blue screen?

This was a problem I've had for quite a while. But, after catching up on my command prompt coding, I found the solution. Your disk of the hard drive is probably fragmented which will cause random bsods of random error codes. And, to make it worse, the bsod shuts down after a couple of seconds so you don't have time to copy the error. I will assume that you still can have access to your desktop with the exception that it shuts down randomly. Open your start menu. I hope you have Vista or Windows 7 because I forget how to do this in any of the other operating systems. Type "cmd" in the search box. At the top of the start menu, there should be a section that holds a program called cmd with an icon that is a black box with "C:\_" in it. Right click on this icon and click "run as administrator" in the menu that appears. A window with a black background and white text should appear. Now, type "chkdsk /r /f" and press enter. The command prompt will respond by giving a message saying about how chkdsk can't run. Ignore it. Just type y then press enter. It will respond with something like this operation will begin at next start up. Now, you restart your computer. When it restarts, your computer will boot, then go to a console-based OS looking screen (It's black with white letters). Let your computer sit for about an hour, or maybe a day depending on how badly messed up your hard drive was. chkdsk will probably fix your problem. It is a subroutine implanted into Microsoft OS that is designed to clean fragmented disks.

Changed resolution on your computer now monitor is blank?

You changed resolution to a mode that your monitor cannot handle.

Restart in Safe Mode; to do this (in Windows), restart the computer, and press F8 before you see the windows logo. You may need to press it several times.

You should get a menu, and one of the choices is "Boot computer in safe mode". Boot in safe mode, then once your computer is booted, change the resolution to 640x480, then shut down and reboot again (returning to normal mode). You can then set the resolution and colors back to where you want them (and where they work).

Where can one purchase a PC monitor cable from?

What is a monitor cable?

A moderately thick cable which relays information from a computer to a desktop monitor. It tells the monitor what colors to display to form pictures and your desktop.

Can you connect two computers to one monitor and stay and work online with a network program?

You can connect two computers to one monitor using a KVM swtichbox. Check this product out at Switch Boxu can't connect one monitor in 2 computer.but u can use the monitor disply of other computer through one third party software like VNC

Yes we can connect two computer with one monitor. but we cannot connect online with network program

You can connect two computers to one monitor with a KVM (keyboard-video-mouse) switch. Many KVM switches will allow you to connect 4 or 5 computers to one monitor, one keyboard, and one mouse. Have each computer selected when booting to ensure that the computer registers the keyboard and mouse, before changing to another computer. The computers will be connected to the network through their own cables and won't be affected by the KVM switch. Your network programs will work normally.

If your monitor has two inputs then most likely you do not need any KVM switch. Just connect both PCs on each port; switching between comps is done usually by front knob. If there is only one input on monitor then you will need a KVM. Before buying this piece of hardware check your graphic cards outputs on each PC. These days most of the monitors have one DVI and one analog (D-SUB) input. While D-SUB is somehow unique, there are different versions of the DVI - DVI-I; DVI-I and DVI-A (check on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface).

ANSWER

Accessing two or more systems using one monitor can be done:

  1. using Remote Access
  2. X11 services

Remote Access will cause the console/desktop of the remote to be shown on the local monitor and give mouse, keyboard control

X11 (see link below) will give the same access to multiple systems at the same time each within its own window/frame. X11 has extra security consideration and caution should be exercised until one becomes familiar with X11 Security.

Windows systems need both X11-Server and Client installs.

Why would your monitor display be fuzzy?

Your monitor could be old and needs adjustment, or your video card could be crap. I've seen the same monitor look sharp on one PC and fuzzy on the next PC. You could be running through too much cable or a switchbox (KVM) and loosing the higher frequencies in your signal.

What causes slow character response on computer when typing?

Sounds like you have a lot of background processes running, which takes away from the processor's speed because it's busy trying to work on several other things at the same time. Try shutting down some of those processes and see if it helps speed your computer up.
