Why does your computer mouse make noise when you move it?
If you have the older mouse with the roller ball, the gears may be grinding. Perhaps it needs to be taken apart and cleaned. Or, because of designed obselescence, perhaps it is nearing the time for it to break so that you will have to spend your money buying a new mouse. I went through several of these mice before Wal-Mart quit selling them, so I had no choice but to take a chance on the new high-tech laser mouse. It has been working very well, and silently, ever since.

Would a Microsoft BlueTrack Mouse work on glass surfaces?
No, unfortunately Bluetrack technology cannot track on glass. However it does track on a variety of difficult surfaces, such as granite counter tops, wood counters, etc...
There are two mice on market that can track on glass as well as the difficult surfaces mentioned above. These are sold by Logitech: The Anywhere mouse and the MX Performance mouse. They both include the latest LASER Darkfield sensor to allow them to track on glass. Unfortunately both mice are fairly expensive.
##I am currently using a BlueTrack Mouse on glass. It doesn't work spectacularly but it is reasonably usable. Just make sure that it is not clear glass, it must be frosted or coated glass and it is sort of important for it to be dirty because then it can track the dirt which it tracks a lot better :) . It is also very odd that it sense left-right movements much better than up-down.
Hope this helps.
Is there a computer mouse that does not have the buttons on the top?
Apple produced a mouse which was "buttonless" in that it didnt have the two (one) button on the top. In actuality the whole top of the mouse was a button & it was clicked by pressing down on the mouse.
This arrangement was very counter-intuitive and difficult to use. Dragging and dropping was nearly impossible to do with any accuracy and most users immediately replaced the mouse with a more traditional one.
How do you remove the battery cover on a a brand ed computer mouse?
The top cover is actually the mouse button part and needs quite some pressure to pull it up and release it from the body. The main offending supporting lug is at the back of cover (meaning behind wheel but on edge of rim). Hope this helps.

Why is my mouse unresponsive at times?
This sounds like a problem with the mouse. More than likely, there is a problem either with the cable and/or with the logic board in the mouse itself.
If you have tried replacing the mouse, then check the USB port that you are using to see whether it is damaged. The easiest way to do this is just to plug a known-good mouse into the current USB port and see what happens and then plug it into another port that seems to work fine (such as one currently used by another device, maybe a printer) and see if that works.
If this is a wireless mouse and what you meant by unplugging and replugging the mouse was the wireless receiver for the mouse, then you should try relocating the receiver (often referred to as a dongle) to someplace else that has better reception. For example, frequently people will put the dongles on the backs of their desktop computers because they are long and "ugly" but with all the cables and especially the power supply being back there, interference quite often is present and the mouse works poorly. You can also try getting a USB extension cable and relocate the dongle to someplace more free of obstructions or other interference. As a great example, I have my wireless dongle located out of the way at the top of my hutch at the end of a 3-foot extension cable. That allows both my wireless keyboard and trackball to work without any problem whatsoever.
Also, just to play it safe, if this is a wireless mouse with which you are having problems, remove the battery and test it with a volt meter. A brand new AA or AAA battery will typically read at 1.65V while a battery that is completely "dead" will read at 1.2V. (A battery is no longer viable once its voltage reaches 80 percent of its nominal voltage. In the case of AA, AAA, C, or D batteries, that nominal voltage is 1.5, so dead is 1.2V.) I have had various clients change out batteries in their devices with no improvement in use, only to find when replacing the batteries that they were using equally dead cells instead of something newer. (In one particular case, the gentleman replaced a battery reading at 0.8V with one that read 0.05V.)
For recommendations regarding equipment, I have found that the cheaper brands and "no-name" brands tend to have many more problems than the known companies. Out of the most well known names, I find that Logitech is the most reliable and robust in any environment in which I have installed their products for clients. You might consider a Logitech device the next time you replace whatever you are using now.
I hope all this helps. If you have any other questions, feel free to drop me a line. If you are in the northeast Kansas area and would like professional assistance, let me know and I will schedule an appointment with you through my company.

Buy Computer Mouse Batteries In Bulk?
A modern wireless mouse will need a pair of AA batteries in order to operate. You should buy computer mouse batteries in bulk to make sure that the mouse always works. If the batteries die, you will have to use the touchpad on your keyboard. Some keyboards do not have touch pads, so you will not be able to use them at all unless the mouse works. It is good to have many replacement batteries.

How much is a computer and What is a other name for a computer mouse?
First question: In the USA at this time, the lowest mass-market price for a refurbished complete computer is about US$200. I don't know if there is a price upper limit; there are a seemingly endless number of hardware and software features that can be added on. Just for some examples of higher-end prices, I see an Apple Mac Pro being sold for US$3330 and a Lenovo Thinkstation for US$5000. Warnings: if you're shopping for a low-end price, make sure that what you're buying is complete. (1) a "computer" doesn't necessarily include a monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc. (2) A "barebones" computer is one that is missing important internal components which you would then have to buy and install separately. If you buy a "no-OS" computer, then you have to purchase and install operating system software which could cost hundreds of dollars. Second question: A computer mouse is a graphical user interface pointing device, or more simply, just pointing device.
How do you get rid of red dots on your skin that appear after you shave your legs?
I sure hope this helps seeing how's this seems to be a normal problem for a lot of people. Like what was said in the last post, they are ingrown hairs caused from shaving in the wrong direction. There are things that you can try to prevent or even help clear up the bumps. One thing is, when you shave (I know most people like a nice clean shave) but instead of getting a smooth shave try shaving in the direction that the hair is growing in. It won't be smooth but it will be close enough so that the hair is not noticeable. Another thing is after you shave, rub baby oil or baby lotion on the area. What this does is soften the hair so that it won't be so coarse and have to literally "push" it's way through your skin. Try to keep lotion or any kind of moisturizer on the area and this should prevent the bumps. Hope this helps. It worked for me and a lot of my friends. they will go away in time. There most likely ingrown hairs. Sometimes they just come and other times its from shaving in the wrong direction. That happend to me in my pubic area. I dont think you can
