How many MB in 20 GB?

20Gb can hold aprx 6000 photo's (medium size)

or 20 can hold aprx 4000 pictures.

How many MB so it can be one GB?

1024mb in 1 gb!!

Thought everyone knew that?

Its because computers work in base 2 (e.g 01010101) whereas humans calculate using base 10.

What are the output devices?

An output device is any piece of computer hardware equipment used to communicate the results of data processing carried out by an information processing system (such as acomputer) to the outside world.

In computing, input/output, or I/O, refers to the communication between an information processing system (such as a computer), and the outside world. Inputs are the signals or data sent to the system, and outputs are the signals or data sent by the system to the outside.

Basically, output devices are devices that carry the result out of a system.

Examples:

  • a monitor displays the graphic interface
  • a printer prints out the documents or images
  • a speaker carries out the sound
  • Headphones
  • Vibration
  • LED lights

If input devices input the information into a system (e.g. a keyboard, a mouse) then output devices outputs the processed information out of a system (e.g. a monitor, a printer).

What suit do cleanroom technicians wear while making computer chips?

what do they call the suit that cleanroom technicians waer while making computer chipd

How much is 1 GB in MB?

There are 1024 Megabytes in a Gigabyte (same as there is 1024 Kilobytes in a MB)

So 1024(mb) x 1.9(gb) = 1945.6MB

How many GB is 60000 MB?

there are 6000mb in 6gb

To be exact there are 6144 Mb in 6Gb since 1Gb = 1024 Mb.

What is the reason for hibernation?

Hibernation causes because of the cold weather in the world. When NP and SP were not given sunlight, the ice causes the cold weather that the animals can't take it because of the cold weather.

NP and SP: North Pole and South Pole

What is difference between charger and smps?

SMPS: Switch Mode Power Supply - specifically refers to switch mode power supplies which are supposed to be more efficient by using a much higher frequency than mains on the primary winding of the transformer. Charger could refer to either a SMPS or a conventional transformer which operates at mains frequency. For charging batteries outside of the laptop, both will have extra circuitry.

A2

Switched Mode Power Supplies, do not use transformers to change the voltage. This makes them lighter and more efficient.

They chop up the rectified mains into small pulses and then charge a capacitor. This is all controlled precisely by electronics. Altering the pulse width can control the current demand and regulate the output voltage.

When they are off load (battery charged and computer off) they draw minimum current from the mains. As the load varies, a smps can cope with changing current and yet keep the voltage accurately within specification.

Laptop chargers use this process instead of a transformer. This keeps the weight and bulk down. A transformer capable of handling 4 to 6 amps at 20volts would be very heavy, bulky and more expensive.

Concepts of hacking and cracking?

Long answer made short: * learn what asm is (short for assembly code) * learn how to reverse engineer (get the assembly code of a program, a debugger is most commonly used) * learn a programming language basics (mainly how to read and write to memory) You can then reverse your program, find what you need to change, and create an external program to edit the part you wish to change. (otherwise known as memory hacking, or mem hacks) to crack, its the same, reverse, locate, however, you then have to permantly change part of the program. this is often done to bypass serial codes. a JE is changed to JNZ, or simply JMP.

What is more ghz or mb?

Giga-hertz (processor clock) and Mega-bytes (memory)

What is the role of computer in scientific?

Computers have a very important role to play in research activities. It has become an essential tool for research whether it be for academic purpose or for commercial purpose. You can find all kinds of information on the Internet and you can even discuss research problems with people around the world. Computers has led the way to a globalised information portal that is the World Wide Web. By using www we can conduct primary as well as secondary research on a massive scale. Various computer programs and applications have eased our way into compiling our research process. For example MS office tools help us to organize data and handle quantitative as well as qualitative data. Inference and analysis is also easier to make by using a computer

What is a parallel connector?

A parallel connector, or parallel port, is an interface used to connect a computer to some external peripheral. An example of things that can hook up to a computer using a parallel port include a printer and/or a scanner. More recently, the USB interface has become extremely common and most types of devices that used to commonly hook up via parallel port now hook up by USB instead.

How much megabits is 8 megabytes?

Eight megabytes is 8,000 KB or 8,000,000 bytes. Eight megabytes is not very large.

How many money is 6 bits?

A bit is 1/8 of a dollar or 12.5 cents so if you have six bits it is 75¢

What is a query?

Queries are essentially powerful Filters. Queries allow you to decide what fields or expressions are to be shown and what information to be sought. Queries are usually based on Tables but can also be based on an existing Query. Queries allow you seek from very basic information through to much more complicated specifications. They also allow you to list information in a particular order, such as listing all the resulting records in Surname order for example.

Queries can select records that fit certain criteria. If you had a list of people and had a gender field you could use a query to select just the males or females in the database. The gender field would have a criteria set as "male" which means that when the query is run only records with "male" in the Gender field would be listed. For each record that meets the criteria the you could choose to list other fields that may be in the table like first name, surname, phone number, date of birth or whatever you may have in the database.

Queries can do much more than just listing out records. It is also possible to list out totals, averages etc. from the data and do various other calculations. Queries can also be used to do other tasks, such as deleting records, updating records, adding new records, creating new tables and creating tabulated reports.

What is a directory in the sense of a computer files?

Directories and folders are interchangeable terms. In the days before Windows (known as the "DOS" days), "Folders" were called, "Directories." To explain what a directory was, it was said to be "like a folder" which held documents (files) and sometimes envelopes (sub-directories) which could also hold other envelops and/or documents etc. etc. At some point Microsoft started referring to "Directories" as "Folders" supposedly to make it easier to understand for those new to computers.

Computer files are always found in a named Directory. If a file isn't in a named directory, it is said to be in the "Root" directory i.e "In the root directory of the D: drive."

Further, if a sub-directory/folder is in another directory, it is the "child" of the "parent" directory.
