6. if your mouse is shaking or moving and flashing on its own quickly save what your working on ( if you were working on anything) and shut down your computer.

7. if step 6 keeps happening then bring it to a computer store and check if the mouse is busted or the mouse pad on your laptop is bugged out. if nothing is wrong with any of those then you have a virus so that whenever you are connected to the internet they will be ammedialty able to acces your stuff.

8. to follow up on step 7 right as you boot your computer up disconnnect from any network and go into programs and look for something that you did not intall or looks very suspicias if you find one delete it and check back on every week or so to see if the program has re installed itself. if it has then get a new pc or have a professinol go in and delete the viruses with one of hus search engines

i don't know about black, but i had an unforrtunate glitch with camstudio which made my screen flash different colours when i clicked the window called flashing (go figure =/ ) The only way to fix that was to restart my laptop, which isn't really good for it.

Dunno about straight out black, but my flashing screen definitely had some black in it.

Update to the newest version of the software to resolve the system crashes.

As a bit more information - I've changed my reverted homepage back to default (Firefox's own), and everytime I open a new tab, I'm greeted with "homepage-web.com/?s=acer&m=tab"; I've run Malwarebytes on it, and it produced something on the first scan, nothing on the second.

I have found that AVG and other antivirus programs do not work very well with rogue antivirus and maleware programs. There are multiple ways to protect yourself from email viruses. The first and most simple way is to not click on email attachments from unknown senders. These are most likely a virus that will infect your computer. Secondly, if your antivirus has the capability, set it to where it will automatically scan email attachments.

Beware of worms though, these things will infect your friends' computers and then send you an email making it look like it came from them when it is really a virus.

Wipe your computer of everything and restart like you just bot a new computer.
