Where can you check how many MB you have left?
I am not sure what operating system you have, so I will assume you have either Windows XP, or Windows Vista.
First, click the start menu (the button on the far bottom left of your screen). A menu should come up. Along the right hand side of it, locate and click on the button labelled either "My Computer" or "Computer" depending on whether you are using Windows XP or Windows Vista respectively. Then a window should open up with a list of your drives, like CD, DVD, and hard drives. Locate and right click on your main hard drive (should be letter "C" and is often called "Local Disk (C:)"). In the dropdown menu that comes up from right clicking, click on "Properties." In the box that opens up, there should be a place that says "Free Space." Look to the right of this, and you should find how much space you have left.
Hope this helped!

How can information be organised inthe computer?
A computer doesn't organize and store data by itself. Computers follow the programming (instructions) by people describing how and where to manage, organize, store and retrieve information. Basically we can program computers to do this the same way it could be done with a filing cabinet. We have the equivalent of cabinets and drawers (storage devices), folders and folders within folders (directories), notes and records and accounting spread sheets (files and tables). Manually we would keep information ordered by account number or name (person or company) and search for things that way. We would have to know one or the other to find something or tediously search through everything till we saw what we wanted.
A computer can be instructed to do these things much faster. Because of its speed, we can also program a computer to go through all the data and build an index (like at the end of a book) and make changes to the index each time the data is modified. We can have multiple indexes. we can even have a computer program search quickly through some or all of the folders for any kids of information and it would do so much faster than we could manually.
How do you upload a song to LimeWire?
You don't upload the songs your self to LimeWire. LimeWire will search your computer its self for songs. You will not be told that songs have been put on LimeWire. Don't worry, you won't loose the songs that you have. They only copy the songs off of your computer. If you look in the bottom left corner there will be a little box that has a number. That number is the amount of songs that had been took'n of your computer. What do you need to know before buying a computer?
First thing you should ask yourself is what am I going to be using this computer for. I have seen so many people purchase a computer because they saw a good deal on what they thought was a good deal but the computer was already outdated. If you are going to be getting a computer to do just low-end things like check e-mail, surf the internet pay bills, things like that I suggest getting a basic system and DELL, Gateway and HP/COMPAQ have several models that cost $499 and up. If you are going to be using it for high end things like creating web pages, running big applications and things of that nature, seek to purchase a computer that has a minimum of at least 2.4 to 2.8 gigabit hertz processor, this is the part that runs how fast the computer processes things with at least a 80 gigabyte hard drive, think of a hard drive as a house and gigabit bytes as rooms. A 80GB hard drive is like a castle or mansion. Gigabit is like the standard these days, if you get a computer that only has Megabytes then that person is trying to seel you a old system that is already outdated because most applications like Windows XP needs a minimum of 2 to 3 GB just to install. Look to have at least 256MB of RAM(Random Access Memory) this works in conjunction with the processor to help the system to run in a proper manner. Also, make sure you have a good video card, I have seen people go out an purchase nice systems and have a low end video card and then they wonder why they cannot see anything on there screen, what they have done is put them self in a bad situation.
Go to websites like dell, gateway, compaq, and ibm. Look over the systems they have and make your choice on what you need your system to do for you. Remember, you do not want to purchase a system that is going to be outdated in 1 to 3 years, because they are making computers so fast and with such new technology that a system purchased today can be outdated in a year or two.
