yes this person is right but it was made by Jonathan Hewbeul when he was to mix an awkward ingrediant..so from taste testing and media analying he came to call them cookies because circle starts with C and cookies are circles, also the two "oo"s within cOOkies are circles.. makes sense dont it!!

The one stage method is a very simple mixing method. All you have to do is scale out all ingredients. Make sre they're at room temperature. Thenplace all ingredients in a bowl. With a paddle attachment mix on low until uniformly blended.

preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit then get ur ingredients toghteher 1 cup of butter flavored shortening 3/4 cup of brown sugar, 3/4 cup of white sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tsp of vannila extract , 2 1/4 cup of all purpose flour, 1 tsp of baking soda, 1 tsp of salt, and 2 cups of milk chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of coconuts. the nxt thing you need to do is grease about to cookie sheets (recipe makes 24 cookies) in al large bowl cream together the butter flavored shortening the brown sugar and the white sugar until light and fluffy then you need to add the eggs one @ a time beating well with each addition then add the vannila extract. then combine the flour,coconuts, baking soda and salt gradually stir into mixture. then fold in the chocolate chip cookies drop by rounded spoonfulsonto the prepared cookies sheets bake 8-10 minutes the wala u have cookies so yep there alot better then a website!:)

Archway Cookies has filed for bankruptcy. :( No more Archway Cookies. Well, I guess there are still some available here and there across the country temporarily, but the Archway cookies will soon be gone forever. :( Christmas just won't be the same without Archway Wedding Cake Cookies!

Yes you can, Voortman cookies are sold in almost all of the US states and Canada, in California they might go under the name Baker's Batch. I know they are definitely sold in California, because that is where the Baker's Batch plant is located, as far as Maryland goes, I would think there are available in that state also. I deliver them in NJ, and they are great cookies, and they sell fast!!

I called the company - they were bought by Lance (which makes horrible cheap cookies) and they are moving the factory from New York to Ohio . THis was much in the news in New York. The woman I spoke with said that by Frebruary they will be gearing up again and after that the cookies will re-apear in stores. I hope they taste the same......
