How do you adjust the tracking on a 2003 Daewoo VCRDVD player?
If you do not have the remote, or even if you do, try using the channel up/down buttons. These are the factory default buttons for adjusting the tracking for VCR's.
Where is the crankshaft sensor located Daewoo leganza 98?
The crankshaft position sensor is located behind the cam gears. you have to remove the timing belt to get to it. If your not having any problems don't fool with it. This is actually the camshaft sensor, the crankshaft sensor is down near the crankshaft and is the wire that runs up over the timing belt inside cover. It is very hard to reach and not many diagrams on it.
You have bad wires. No wires should ark.If you get a fuel leak or hot oil leak your gonna have a bad fire. There are hold down clips there, if there gone use cable ties. But get good hi temp wires first. Good luck
Where is the thermostat housing located on a 1995 Daewoo Cielo?
The thermostat housing is located at the end of the cylinder head and behind the timing belt inner cover.

What is the code to unlock the radio in your Daewoo Lanos?
The radio code feature of Daewoo models (sold in the US from 1998 - 2001 as Leganza, Nubira, and Lanos) is meant to be an anti-theft security feature, but unfortunately it can also present a problem to legimate owners when their car batteries have died or been replaced. When the radio is removed from the power source (or the power source is interrupted), the radio will reset itself (prevent any use) and flash "CODE" until the proper code is entered.
Each radio has a specific four-digit code, which was originally provided on a plastic card within the owner's manual kit. New owners were encouraged to remove the card and keep in a safe place outside the car (eg home). Since these cards may be lost over time (or perhaps not passed along when the car was sold used), that leaves today's owner in a tough spot.
To obtain your code... You can try calling Daewoo Motor America (the company still operates a HQ in CA for service/parts/warranty purposes); their website is still www.daewoous.com. You can also try calling your original Daewoo dealer, who hopefully still has some technical materials and personnel to help you identify your unique code. Some General Motors dealers may be able to help, as GM acquired Daewoo and still sells Daewoo-made cars in the US under their Pontiac and Chevy brands. But all methods above may be difficult for an individual detailed problem such as obtaining your unique radio code.
If all else fails, TRY THE CODES BELOW, which were the most common codes used in models during the 1998-2001 model years.

I am posting these because - although the code feature was a valuable anti-theft feature - there have been no models sold in the US since late 2001, and the radios are now undoubtly worthless to theives. At this point, the radio code feature can only be a major nusance to an owner of a still-running used Daewoo. Good luck and enjoy your car!
the code for a 1998 deawoo lanos is (3451) Model no:- AKF-8817R

How can I find the radio code of a Daewoo?
Search the web. I once found the codes on the web for all the Daewoo radios. You just have to try each one until it works. code on top of radio pull out There also should be a card with the owners manual that would say the code. I have a 2000 Lanos and the code for its radio is 6361. i don't know if they use they same code for all of them but it wouldn't hurt to try I got my Lanos without a manual, and when the battery died I had to guess the code. The good news is that unlike other cars, Lanos' radio doesn't lock if you guess incorrectly. you need to try 6*6*6*6=1296 times at the most. In average it will take you about 30 minutes. My code was 1656, so it wasn't too bad to find it.

How do you get the heater control panel off a Daewoo Lanos without breaking it?
its very easy actually. 1. take out (the 2 side pieces that make up your exterrior of your panel) pry them out dont be afraid. theyll cime out dont worry
2. you will see the screws for the radio and the heater unit now.(unscrew all because they kind of overlap the brackets and it s easier this way.)
3.be careful when removig heater unit the radio should easily unplug. to make it easier for you to deal with the heater unit.
4.you will see 2 or 3 plug ins(depending on options) to the unit. Unplug dont worry they only fit in one socket anyways cant mess this up.
5. you will have 2 cables attached to each control knob, pinch the end of the plastic to release the cable, once cable is released you will see a plastic clear piece still holding the cable in place, puch this piece you will see theirs only one way it will release the cable. take your time with this because you cant break them yetr they need some force to release.
6.oh ya by the way grab a pair of vice grips and pull the knobs off the face of the unit.
hope i helped
How do you replace a clutch on a daewoo nexia 96 15 glxi?
the gearbox has to come out,get the front of the car as high as poss on axle stands, remove n/s plastic shield, remove n/s wheel, remove driveshft nut, split bottom ball joint+remove shaft from hub, remove all bellhousing bolts (theres a 19mm bolt right at the top that's hidden under the alloy breather housing)you can leave the starter motor on,remove speedo + clutch cables crank sensor wires(by speedo cable) +disconect gear linkage under car, support engine on trolly jack ,remove bolt from rear gearbox mounting, remove front gearbox mount complete, split o/s driveshaft from gearbox, lower engine slowly until gearbox will slide out, remove 6 bolts on clutch cover +remove driveplate, you can get a clutch kit on eBay for £29.90 inc p+p from bcp20040. fitting is reverse of removal but make sure clutch driveplate is cental to flywheel. PC-classics
Just to add to this the car I just changed the clutch on was a right Hand drive model.
don't listen to anyone who says its the same as the Vauxhall and you just need to remove the 5th gear cover and use a slide hammer etc, although I did this there is no way to fit a slide hammer I tried mole grips and other things but to no avail. so the above is right.
However I might add, Mark the gear linkage really accurately, I didn;t and it was a pain to get it to select the right gears after. its only millimeteres to get it tuned in so you can select all gears.
Where above it says split O/S Drive shaft I found it easier to remove the hub nut instead and leave the shaft connected, when the gearbox is ready to move out on a trolley jack ,if you take it steady you or an assistant can tap the O/S shaft out and it will move out with the box. I pulled the box just far enough away to get inside and replace the clutch and Bearing, I did this through the removable plate on the bellhousing.
To make fitting easier I slid the friction plate onto the box splines (to save lining it up dead on) I then pushed it back together then put the 6 bolts back in around the clutch and tightened them gradually rotating the engine when i had put 4 or five turns on a nut, just keep checking that everything is in line. when the clutch is fully tightened its just a matter of pushing the box back together it would be about 3 inches or so. Get a couple of bolts in and check the thrust bearing is central to the clutch and that its not off centre( which it can be if you overtighten the 6 clutch bolts uneavenly).
once that's done carry on as above, this way you wont lose gearbox oil, and although its red it isn't ATF. which i thought it was after removing the 5th gear cover. its much thicker than ATF, I shoved about 300cl of 80/90 gearbox oil in through the speedo drive hole. and it runs fine. ( the level plug is at the back of the box on the inside near where the O/S driveshaft enters the box)
All in all I took a weekend to do this but wasted time with seized nuts and trying to do it the Vauxhall way wasted a day. good luck

How do you set timing marks on a Daewoo laganza?
Did one last weekend. Both cams have a line the lines up with marks on the valve cover. Basicly the marks on the cams both are set to point to twelve o'clock. The mark on the crank shaft pully points to 6 o'clock or strait down. Hope this helps. If you are not in a hurry I could draw you a picture or send a photo if you are more patient. I have to tear into it again to replace a cam shaft sensor. Good luck. Be careful, if you get off you'll smash up the valves as the Leganza is an interferance engine.
Where is the obd socket on Daewoo matiz?

How do you change the front brake pads on a Daewoo nubira?
To change your brake pads, you will first need to remove the tires and old pads. Check your owners manual for help in getting the tire off.
How do you remove the headlamps on a Daewoo Matiz?
How do you set the timing on a 1999 Daewoo?
You dont, timing is adjusted by the computer. You can only align the timing marks on the sprockerts and crankshaft. Actually you can, true timing advancing is made by the computer, but initial setting has to be made to ensure proper acceleration, if you dont , the car will reheat or advence poorly on low gears. +5-10 degrees will do fine for most, but its better to find the specific one for your car
