Well, assuming you're in middleschool/ highschool, slow dancing isn't like actual dancing. Most of the time, you just put your hands on her waist (Not lower) and she'll put her hands on your shoulders. Then what normally happens is you just sway back and forth to the beat. But you should look intersted in her, smile, make eye contact, and maybe make small talk or tell her somthing funny. Don't try to pull her closer to you and make it more intamate- unless you know she likes you back and you dont mind your peers teasing you a little- and never put your hands on her butt. If you do that and she giggles or blushes, she probably just likes the attention, but you'll still come off as too eager or a jerk who just wants to get in her pants. After the dance, see waht she does, if she hangs around you, she might want to have another dance, but if she just leaves, dont chase her, you might scare her off.
