How computers are used in airports in brief?
Computers are used in airports to:
* Keep track of the planes' locations, speed, direction, status, etc. * Monitor security devices like cameras, x-ray machines, and metal detectors * Keep up with the departure/arrival status * Communicate over screens audio systems, and paging devices * It is used for saving, who have booked the tickets
To keep all the plane times, to scan tickets and to search problems in the airport. Oh... also to keep in touch with other airports.
The round robin scheduling algorithm works by placing all processes in a circular queue and allotting each process a single time slice until all processes are completed. If process A required 2 time slices, process B required 1 time slice, and process C required 3 time slices the queue would be as follows: A > B > C > A > C > C.
How do you create a schema in MySQL?
To create a schema (also known as a database), connect to your MySQL server with a program that allows you to send SQL commands. Common software usually includes phpMyAdmin or the MySQL Workbench utilities.
In the program, find a method of executing an SQL command to your server. You will then want to issue a CREATE statement, which will create a new schema. It can have a simple or complex syntax depending on your needs; see the related link for a full, official guide on this statement's syntax.
In order to determine reasonable costs of capital for average, high and low risk projects the firm should develop risk-adjusted costs of capital for each category of risk based on the concept of divisional WACC. If a firm estimates that its cost of capital for the coming year will be 10%, the firm should use 10% as the basis for its average risk projects since the firm will need to achieve a minimum of a 10% return on all its projects. Typically, a high-risk project has the potential for higher returns and a low-risk project will typically yield lower returns. Therefore, the firm could set the cost of capital for its high-risk projects at 12% and the cost of capital for low risk projects at 8%. Since the average risk project has a 10% cost of capital, the overall risk of the firms projects will be equal to the 10% cost of capital. Similarly, if the firm's high-risk projects are particularly risky, they could be set at a 15% cost of capital and the low-risk projects will be adjusted down to a 5% cost of capital. The ultimate goal is that the portfolio of the firm's projects will achieve the required 10% return or greater so that the cost of capital to fund the projects is covered. The assignment of risk is somewhat subjective but it is better than not adjusting the risk at all.
Which deduplicate software product is the best for removing duplications in databases?
Hi,
There are many kinds of dedupe software to deduplicate lists and databases. I have tried most of them but my favourite is WinPure Clean & Match from http://www.winpure.com , it has many features such as fuzzy matching, partial matching, merge/purge and much more, but most importantly its very easy to use.
Further check it out the free trial http://www.winpure.com/downloadcleanmatch.HTML. I hope this would be useful for your database.
Thanks
A query is sometimes called a logical view of data because?
Queries do not store Is_A_query_datasheet_is_called_a_logical_view_of_the_data_because_a_query_does_not_physically_store_the_data_as_it_is_still_stored_in_the_tables, they only display a view of data.
How are field record table and relational database relate to one another in Access?
A table stores data. Tables have fields in them, like name, address, date of birth etc. They are often likened to columns. One individual set, like your name, address and date of birth is a record. So tables have records in them. In a relational database there is more than one table and these tables are related to each other. So one table might store all your personal details and another my store all your employment details. By having at least one common field, like an employee number, these two tables can be related to each other. Access is a database application and has the capability to create relational databases.
What happens if you delete file extension dmp?
.dmp files are usually backup files. That means, if something oes wrong with the program that created the .dmp file, it won't be able to repair itself, because it won't find it's backup. Of course, if it isn't a very important program for you, you can delete them.

Difference between a macro and a stored procedure?
A macro is a group of repetitive instructions in a program which are codified only once and can be used as many times
as necessary.
The main difference between a macro and a procedure is that in the macro the passage of parameters is possible and in the
procedure it is not, this is only applicable for the MASM - there are other programming languages which do allow it.
At the moment the macro is executed each parameter is substituted by the name or value specified at the time of the call.
We can say then that a procedure is an extension of a determined program, while the macro is a module with specific
functions which can be used by different programs.
Another difference between a macro and a procedure is the way of calling each one, to call a procedure the use of a
directive is required, on the other hand the call of macrosis done as if it were an assembler instruction.
Example of procedure:
For example, if we want a routine which adds two bytes stored in AH and AL each one, and keep the addition in the BX register:
Adding Proc Near ; Declaration of the procedure
Mov Bx, 0 ; Content of the procedure
Mov B1, Ah
Mov Ah, 00
Add Bx, Ax
Ret ; Return directive
Add Endp ; End of procedure declaration
and an example of Macro:
Position MACRO Row, Column
PUSH AX
PUSH BX
PUSH DX
MOV AH, 02H
MOV DH, Row
MOV DL, Column
MOV BH, 0
INT 10H
POP DX
POP BX
POP AX
ENDM
What are the advantages of traditional file processing and database approach?
An alternative to using a database to store data is to use what are known as flat files. These are basically text files that are stored on your server that you can use to store your data, change, manipulate and generally use how you want. Although I'd recommend you use a database, you can use PHP's file processing system. There are 3 steps to writing data to a file: # Open the file (create if doesn't already exist) # Write data to the file # Close the file There are also 3 steps to reading data in a file: # Open the file (if cannot be opened, generate an errror) # Read the data # Close the file
Which are the Top 10 content management systems?
1. WordPress - A simple semantic publishing system that began as blogging software and has evolved into a robust but simple to use CMS with an excellent support community, and over 1400 free "themes" (templates) and 1200-plus plugins. Note that WordPress.com (not .org) offers a free version of the program with hosting on their site, as opposed to downloading and installing the program on your own hosting server.
2. Drupal - Known for a powerful blend of features, Drupal is popular with a variety of websites ranging from personal weblogs to large community-driven websites. Over 2,000 modules are available for added functionality.
3. Joomla - A favorite with designers, Joomla is used by large and small organizations as a flexible and powerful CMS solution offering over 2,800 extensions.

You should be able to find a good hosting company that will offer free and easy installation of these programs -
What fields are in a doctors database?

Difference between data flow diagram and use case diagram?
Use Cases describe a sequence of actions. Those actions must provide the measurable value to an actor. It is represented by horizontal ellipse.
Data Flow Diagrams have been around for about thirty years. There are a number of newer
techniques available, and it might seem that one of these would be a better alternative to the
DFD. In our experience, even though technology has changed dramatically, what you are
looking for when modeling business processes hasn't changed much at all.
If you are developing requirements for an information system, you need to discover and
document:
ü overall process flow
ü activities being performed
ü inputs & outputs to the activities
ü events that trigger the activities
ü who performs the activities
ü where the activities are performed
ü where information is stored
ü who supplies information
ü who needs to receive information.
What is difference between Schema and Subschema?
SCHEMA is the physical arrangement of the data as it appears in the DBMS.
SUB-SCHEMA is the logical view of the data as it appears to the application program.
How do you select data associated with a logged in user from your sql davabase using php?

$select = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM table_name WHERE user='$user'");
// if statement will check for single user before showing data
if(($fetch = mysql_fetch_array($select))&&($select>0)&&($select<2))
{
// only print the columns you want to show
echo $fetch['col_1']; // where col_1 is the name of column
echo $fetch['col_2'];
