Why did women known as flappers face disaproval?
They faced disapproval because they dressed differently (shorter than what a women was expected to be wearing), they cut their hair show, some smoked, they flirted and were sexually active before getting married. Basically they were just young women trying to have fun and trying to say that "we are fed up with the 'women stay home' rules"
