Decorative design is the use of items, forms, and colors to create a visual aesthetic. The four main types of decorative design are naturalistic, abstract, geometric, and biomorphic design.

Any color will go with dark blue so the answer depends on what look you are trying to achieve. Look at the color wheel in the link for ideas.

An Analogous Color Scheme would use colors right next to blue on the color wheel for a look that blends. You will get a subtle effect by using colors that are just a few shades from the base color.

Any other color scheme will give a much more pronounced effect, so proceed carefully. If you have leftover base paint, try doing a practice board to see if you like the effect.

Cherry wood cabinets give you a lot of room for choices. Because cherry wood has such depth and presence it can stand up to a dark or intense colour should you choose one. Hunter green, royal blue, wine red, or even mustard yellow would all look good with cherry.
If colours that intense are not to your taste, then a medium or pastel shade of one of them would be fine. I like greens with cherry, but find the colour hard to live with so I personally would use a grey-blue (for a light colour) or the royal for drama.
If the cabinets are in a kitchen, and the room is quite open and airy, you could choose any of the colours depending on your taste.
If the cabinets are in a dining room, library or study, then a dark colour will lend drama or cosiness to the room.
If the cabinets are in a bathroom, then you have a chance to "go wild." Few people spend much time in a bathroom, so even if you do not have the inclination to use a deep saturated colour anywhere else in your home, you can certainly try one here.

As a retailer of similar products, there is generally a recommended cure time of 30 days for new paint. This gives the paint sufficient time to dry into the wall which will provide a better surface for your wall graphic and decrease the chance that your paint/wall or the product will be adversely effected.

Try a washed out hunter green color to pull out the burgundy. Use gold colored tassels for curtains. For curtains you can even use a thin gold or llight tan sheer across the window then put burgundy sheers pulled off to the edges of the windows. It will help bring the colors together and it will help hide the blinds.

This is a personal thing, and tends to work best if you do not have an open concept home, as it can become difficult to determine where to leave off one colour and start the next.
I personally have always liked a home where each bedroom is a different colour. It tends to add personality to the rooms.
My only insistence when painting rooms different colours is that the mouldings (baseboards, chair-rails, door & window casings etc) are a uniform colour throughout the home. It adds cohesion to the overall look and eliminates the "where do I change colours at the door" dilemma.

Be creative! Maybe put up some funky mirrors, or labelled shelves to put your things in. Decorate the walls with cool magnets, or (if you like to draw) post some pictures on!

Yes. Neutral colors work best, so the potential buyer can imagine his/her possessions in the condo. Avoid colors that are too bold or bright. Don't just use white, use medium beige colors or sage greens. Kilim Beige by Sherwin Williams is a hot color now for model homes.

If you are talking about exteriors--avoid blue and yellow.

If you means the wall displays,I would say indefinitely if you care for them properly. Wipe with damp cloth and plain water. Keep the wall or other surface you stick them to clean as I believe they depend on static cling and dirt will interfere.

100% acrylic paint can definitely go over latex. Acrylic paint actually is the same thing as latex paint. Some manufacturers differentiate their products as 100% acrylic and also have a product called latex that is made of acrylic plus co binders and other additives. So while one is 100% acrylic and the other is a mixture they are both water based and considered latex.

Use what the child likes as the theme of the room. So if they like space then put glow in the dark stars on the ceiling and space wallpaper. Just make it fun and attractive to the eyes. You can put posters on walls,paint walls, add anything that the kid likes including toys, trophes, pictures...etc.

Your first choices should come from your wardrobe. What colours do your wear frequently. Which ones make you feel good. There is your starting place. Now, check out the Bed & Bath places, they will have a selection of linens, comforters, draperies, and accessories in many different colours and patterns. Take a bit of your colour with you and see what is there you like. Once you have your linens etc, you can choose your walls (and ceiling) colours. Take a pillow case or your comforter with you when you choose the paint, most people do not carry colour well in their heads and once the paint is mixed it is yours, even if you get it wrong.

Remember, unless you own the walls you are painting it is best to have the permission of the owner before you paint. Sometimes a compromise is in order. You might want a royal purple room, but if your parents say no, you may want to go with a lilac paint on the wall and dark purple linens and drapes… You can even use drapes (or fabric) to cover a wall in your desired colour without the "hassle" of repainting when you leave.
