Why do you have to wait 30 days after a room is painted to put a fathead on a wall?
As a retailer of similar products, there is generally a recommended cure time of 30 days for new paint. This gives the paint sufficient time to dry into the wall which will provide a better surface for your wall graphic and decrease the chance that your paint/wall or the product will be adversely effected.
Try a washed out hunter green color to pull out the burgundy. Use gold colored tassels for curtains. For curtains you can even use a thin gold or llight tan sheer across the window then put burgundy sheers pulled off to the edges of the windows. It will help bring the colors together and it will help hide the blinds.

Should you paint each room in the house a different color?
This is a personal thing, and tends to work best if you do not have an open concept home, as it can become difficult to determine where to leave off one colour and start the next.
I personally have always liked a home where each bedroom is a different colour. It tends to add personality to the rooms.
My only insistence when painting rooms different colours is that the mouldings (baseboards, chair-rails, door & window casings etc) are a uniform colour throughout the home. It adds cohesion to the overall look and eliminates the "where do I change colours at the door" dilemma.
How should you decorate your locker?
Be creative! Maybe put up some funky mirrors, or labelled shelves to put your things in. Decorate the walls with cool magnets, or (if you like to draw) post some pictures on!
Happy decorating! :)
Can painting condos a certain color help sell?
Yes. Neutral colors work best, so the potential buyer can imagine his/her possessions in the condo. Avoid colors that are too bold or bright. Don't just use white, use medium beige colors or sage greens. Kilim Beige by Sherwin Williams is a hot color now for model homes.
If you are talking about exteriors--avoid blue and yellow.
If you means the wall displays,I would say indefinitely if you care for them properly. Wipe with damp cloth and plain water. Keep the wall or other surface you stick them to clean as I believe they depend on static cling and dirt will interfere.
Can 100 percent acrylic paint be used to paint over latex paint?
100% acrylic paint can definitely go over latex. Acrylic paint actually is the same thing as latex paint. Some manufacturers differentiate their products as 100% acrylic and also have a product called latex that is made of acrylic plus co binders and other additives. So while one is 100% acrylic and the other is a mixture they are both water based and considered latex.
What is the website that you are allowed to choose a theme and decorate a room?

Use what the child likes as the theme of the room. So if they like space then put glow in the dark stars on the ceiling and space wallpaper. Just make it fun and attractive to the eyes. You can put posters on walls, paint walls, add anything that the kid likes including toys, trophes, pictures...etc.
What color should you decorate your room in?
Your first choices should come from your wardrobe. What colours do your wear frequently. Which ones make you feel good. There is your starting place. Now, check out the Bed & Bath places, they will have a selection of linens, comforters, draperies, and accessories in many different colours and patterns. Take a bit of your colour with you and see what is there you like. Once you have your linens etc, you can choose your walls (and ceiling) colours. Take a pillow case or your comforter with you when you choose the paint, most people do not carry colour well in their heads and once the paint is mixed it is yours, even if you get it wrong.
Remember, unless you own the walls you are painting it is best to have the permission of the owner before you paint. Sometimes a compromise is in order. You might want a royal purple room, but if your parents say no, you may want to go with a lilac paint on the wall and dark purple linens and drapes… You can even use drapes (or fabric) to cover a wall in your desired colour without the "hassle" of repainting when you leave.
The minerals that are in paint would be iron oxides, and malachite. I really wish this answer helps!
Good ideas for decorating a beach theme room especially a desk?
Start with a soft colour scheme, pale, wind and sun bleached colours are best, blues, tans, and aquas work well.
Add light fabric, "faded" gingham or cottons on windows etc.
Framed pieces, either photos, prints, paintings or shadow boxes with with sea shells, driftwood or shorelines on the wall will enhance the look.
he furnishings will do well with a distressed paint finish (beach houses and cottages usually have old well used furnishings).
As for the desk, pick an old wooden desk, or even an old wooden kitchen table (in this case you may need to adjust the table height), give it a distressed white-washed finish. Add your personal needs (computer, phone etc).
For light I would suggest one of those clear glass based lamps that you can add things into. In this case white sand, a few beach rocks/glass, some sea shells and maybe a bit of driftwood (depending on the size of the base) will add to "the look".
Don't neglect your floors, cotton rag rugs or small area rugs will continue the beach house look and give your toes something to rest on as well as help to define the separate spaces in the room.
Think of your favourite cottage or beach getaway and draw from that.
What paint should you use to paint a banner?
wet paint cause dry paint is just pointless like a blunt pencil
How do you decorate your room?
Start by taking a very good look at the room as it is now. Measure it, and draw a floor plan to scale. Mark in all of the doors, (closets too) windows, electrical outlets and switches as well as your TV and phone jacks are. Note the current colours, including the floor coverings. Next make an inventory of the furniture you now have. Okay, now determine what you need in your room, is your bed big enough, do you have a good work area, have you outgrown the toy-box (can it be used for something else). Next you need to know your budget.
Now you need inspiration. This can come from very nearly anywhere. Your wardrobe might be a good place to start for your colour scheme. Magazines will give you ideas of styles and trends. You will give yourself the best ideas (if you are willing to trust your instincts)
Start with what you have to keep, flooring, furniture etc are big ticket items and should only be replaced if absolutely necessary. Check out the local Bed & Bath places, or the Home wears section of a department store and look for something you really love. I recommend comforters that are revisable, (a pattern on one side and a solid colour on the other, works well for versatility. Work from the most restricted colours to the least. Floor coverings have few colour choices; linens, comforters & drapes have a limited number of styles and colours; wallpaper offer a slightly wider selection and finally paint can be mixed to match very nearly everything. Spend your budget wisely, buy good
quality things in styles that are considered "classics" that will last a long time and not go out of style in a couple of years. If you work around this sort of thing you can change the lesser expensive things (like linens and paint) whenever you get tired of them and get a fresh look without breaking the bank. Be cautious of fads, high school musical themed bedrooms won't last forever, they may not last for two years and not everyone wants or can afford to change it all that often. If you are "over the moon" about a fad, buy accessories from it and layer them liberally on your classic room.
What is the square footage of a room 7 by 17 feet?
The question does not give the units of measurement for the room's size. Assuming they are feet, the square footage is 7*17 = 119 square feet.

Or you could look for a multi-colored bedspread or duvet like this, that would hide stains better.

And then instead of a white duvet, you can go with a white ( or beige, or cream, etc.) wall.
