There are a lot of ways to use decorative molding to create interesting architectural features - like adding layered molding to create an interesting crown molding look. You can cut and make picture frames, trim the edges of tables, add thinner trim to cabinet doors to give them a custom look. You can create large rectangle shapes on a wall, paint them the same color as the wall to add texture and interest, or fill in the shapes with wallpaper. Tack trim wood to walls in abstract geometric patterns, or create a chevron pattern on a focal wall. Build a simple box the shape, size and height of a coffee or end table, then get an assortment of different trim styles and cover the sides of the box by stacking the pieces. Stain it all one color or stain every different molding style a different shade. Put a piece of glass on the top and you will have created a cool conversational piece.

Grey and magenta are a great combination on their own.

If you are accessorizing a room, I suggest additional tones of grey (some darker, some lighter) with accents of white or black.

If you are accessorizing an outfit, work with silver metallic jewelry and black shoes, stockings (if you are wearing a skirt/dress) belt and bag.

An accent wall should be a colour that already appears in your room, is dynamic enough to make a statement and one that you personally can live with.

Look at any large upholstered furniture, patterned drapes or accent pieces you are particularily fond of.

Which colour draws your eye, makes you feel good and has enough impact to do what is needed.

Once you have a colour you think might be right, go to you local paint retailer and get either a couple of the super large colour swatches (several brands now carry these) or a sample bottle (these usually cover a square foot or two), take them home and put them up on the wall.

Give yourself a day or so to be sure.

If you are satisfied, your next step is to paint.

If you are not, try the same colour but either darker or lighter. If that doesn't work, try another colour.

Remember, decorating is something you do to make your environment yours. Don't be talked into a look, style or colour you do not like.

Your options here are limited only by your imagination and the function of the room.

For a monochromatic look match the cream of the other three walls or the biscuit to make the window unobtrusive.

To give it drama use a solid statement color taken from some other aspect of the room, deep wine, midnight blue, warm rust are all great if there is any of the color elsewhere in the room.

To give the room a casual homey look use plaids, stripes or chevrons. Make sure at least one of the wall colors and one other color drawn from the room are in the pattern.

If the room is formal (dining room, formal living room etc.) try long drapes (floor to ceiling) in a cream damask or biscuit, jacquard vertical stripe.

For a sophisticated look try a medium to dark tone of grey.

Brown and/or beige work well, and lend a decidedly masculine look to a room. Greens will also tend to a more masculine look, but are harder to live with.

A feminine feel can be achieved by using a light pinkish tone on the walls with lots of cream to keep it from getting to "little girlie."

You Paint the trim first, then wallpaper.

I think it's close to the same but much more labor intensive. the only real advantage is you can get elaborate designs.

There are wallpaper products that are roughly the same cost. The great thing about wallpaper is that you can get beautiful designs that cost a lot less than having beautiful murals painted. Wallpaper also lasts much longer than paint, so it can be less expensive in the long run.

I would think that if you call the phone company that services that line and told them that you wanted them removed that they would. They may want to charge for that and if so, I would inform them that you intend to clip the wire where it attaches to your house and remove it and the box it is attached to. That will probably motivate them to do it for nothing.
