Turn the laptop upside down with the fron facing twords you. Just above the cover latch you will see a compartment about 4" long. remover the two screws and the cover. You will now see the HD exposed with a tab to pull on to remove the drive. However you will still have two small screws to remove from the drive first. Once removed, pull on the tab and the drive will slide out.

If you have a LCD Screen and it's broken, the only fix is to replace the screen. The screens are pretty easy to replace, usually just a plug inside the top and a couple or four screws hold it in place. there can't be a best. because you can't exchange graphics cards for dell inspiron m5010 because the graphics card is part of the motherboard. i know this because i have one my self. in fact im using it to answer this question.

The Dell Inspiron 1520 is pretty good. With 2GB of ram its a pretty good choice. The price is a factor though. HP offers a laptop at about the same ratings for a bit cheaper and a bigger screen. But it all comes down to preference though. With dell you do get performance but you are also paying for the name. My recomendation is to go for the HP way pretty good quality at a reasonable Price.

I own one Dell 1520 , which I think is pretty good just as above . However , I should recommend it according to my personal experience , but I had to say it is the 08 model , which is outdated in the context of 2009 .

i got one a couple of years ago & i absoutly hate it, i have had nothing but problems w. it. one after another, when i send it back they don't fix it! its horrible.The internet jams and and all you can do is wait, or close all the thing you work hard to get too! Then you gotta pay to get it fixed and isn't garrenteed to work! Just like throwing the money away! Other than that its fine!
