How does a candidate who is NOT a democrat or republician get their name on a ballot for a general election?

Each state has its own rules for Independent or third party candidates. Usually the deadlines are the same for these and for the two big parties, but many of these deadlines to file or to become eligible to file as in the case of third parties are not well known by the general public.

The best way to get an answer you can actually use is to call the Secretary of State's office in your state capital and ask what the rules are.

Many states have levels of government that are non-partisan where party affiliation is not required, or even noted, in elections.

How much do rich people spend?

There is no single answer to that. Different rich people spend different amounts of money. Some have more money to spend than other rich people. Some have lots, but still don't spend much. It will depend on things like how much they have, how they like to spend, what they like to buy and so on.

What is the democratic view on prayer in schools?

Good question, there is certainly a great deal of misinformation regarding their position. The Democrats are for prayer in school. As is almost everybody else.Certainly prayers abound, especially around the time of those Friday morning math quizzes.
The American Constitution provides for what is often described as a "wall of separation between church and government." This means that the government in the form of public schools cannot organize religious events for their captive audience (the students.)But no individual is prevented from entering into non-disruptive

prayer. Disruptive prayer isn't prayer after all.

Further, school groups and clubs can be prayerful within public facilities as long as they are a recognized school group and individuals speaking at school events (such as graduation) can pray in public (even though for Christians such prayer is discouraged by the Bible.)

Why are democrates and republicans so dominant in elections?

Good question. Other systems, parliamentary systems for example, have many more political party opportunities than simply two. Of course Americans are not mandated to have two political parties and there are other 'third' parties. Like the Green Party and the Libertarian Party.

Americans either, just like it that way and are loathe to change, or really don't pay a lot of attention to politics in general.

Does this site support liberal democrates?

You ask "Does this site support liberal Democrats, because you will not answer a question about the negative in the history of Democrats?"

The best answer is "No." But it is more complicated than that. The site, as you refer to it, uses ordinary folks to answer questions. Just folks, like you and me and the next guy. The people who answer questions do so because they volunteer to do so. Nobody gets paid to answer the questions that come in.

When you take on the responsibility to answer questions the answers you give should satisfy the person asking but also be viable for the next person who wants the same question answered. While it is very tempting to give slanted answers and very difficult to give answers that are not slanted that is the goal of folks who volunteer to answer questions on this site not to give biased answers. At least that is my goal.
