well, first they drill the hole in your teeth (after giving you a shot to make your mouth numb), and then they put this yucky white stuff in your teeth, and i guess it then dries and becomes a filling.
my doctor said getting xrays done is the most dangerous for your baby in the first trimester.
When a tooth is extracted, the healing process begins with a blood clot forming in the hole in the bone left by the tooth. This is the first stage in the healing process. Smoking interferes with this in three ways; (i) smoke contains toxins, (ii) smoking causes the mouth to become dry and (iii) the action of inhaling creates suction which can dislodge the clot. The consequences of this can be extremely unpleasant, painful, and depending on where you live and the availability of free dental treatment, expensive.

Why do dentists inject noradrenalin when they inject anaesthetic?
Injecting no-adrenaline (noepinephrine) with an anaesthetic could help keep you awake while on it.
I was told by a dentist epinephrine is mixed with anesthetic to increase the length of time the anestetic is effective. Without it, the numbing effect would wear off much more quickly.
Although the above answer may be correct in that epinephrine increases wakefullness, it is not the reason it's mixed with some anastetics. Further, I don't know why one would want to remain more awake during a dental procedure, and I'm assuming the question was asked becuase some do not like the feeling (or perceive to at least) of epinephrine.
The Dr explained to me, the reason why this works is noradrenalin or epinerphrine restricts blood vesels slowing blood flow from the area, which in turn slows down the process of the anestetic getting flushed out of the area and ultimately cleared by the body in whatever way it does so.

Natural flouraid decrees dental caries same as added flouraid?
It all has to do with the concentration of FLUORIDE. Through extensive research over many decades, it has been determined that the optimal fluoride concentration in drinking water supplies to reduce the incidence of dental cavities in the population is 1 part per billion. If this concentration occurs naturally in a water supply, nothing needs to be done. If the naturally occurring fluoride is below the optimal concentration, addition fluoride can be added as necessary.
