A base 2 dr. dart in 1966 was about $2,500.

first you have to take the windshield out.Then you take the 6 screws out of the top ,then you loosen 2 side bolts under the dash by each kick panel.Then you tip it back toward you and unhook all your heater cables and wiring plugs by the kick panel on drivers side.Unhook speedometer cable.Then unhook door light switches on both side and it should lift out.

Look on the bottom of your lower control arms you will see a screw type bolt, I believe it's either a 11/16 or 3/4" and turn each bolt equally on both sides to the right as this will raise the height of the front end.

First make sure the #1 cylinder is on TDC firing position you can verify this two ways 1 as you turn the engine over by hand (with all sparkplugs removed) put your finger over the spark plug hole and feel the air pushing or if u have valve covers off both intake and exaust valves will be closed. Now with the timing cover off there are two gears one on the camshaft one on the crankshaft.the mark on the cranf should be pointed straight up 12oclock. the camshaft gear mark should be directly across from it at six oclock.after putting things back togethnor when you put the distributor back in make sure that u have it pointing at #1 than static time it. hook up #1 wir to sparkplug ground plub an block and energize the circuit. twist distributer clokwa\ise until plug fires. tighten down bilt an the block. its easy have fun with it

more than likely you will have to take the back glass out to be able to slide the headliner out.

take tire off, pull brake shoes off, and on the backing plate in the back of it you will see 2 bolts that hold the wheel cylinder on, take the brake line out of the wheel cylinder and remove the 2 bolts and the wheel cylinder is off.

remove trim molding , don't break clips, cut gasket and take out old glass, purchase new gasket , and clean chanel out- inspeck molding clips , replace if needed , Phillips head screww holds in place , place little oil around glass chanel, install gasket on new glass , then with a frends help inside the car, using a rope the size of a lawnmower pull, gently work rope back and forth until gasket falls in to place, reinstall molsings

you will need a computer and all the wiring to go with it, electric fuel pump in the tank and a return fuel line.
