If I were you I would go to other forums and read up on the Dodge Durango's blowing pistons and rods out of the blue. And Dodge not admitting to a factory defect. I am telling you this because I read up on it after my 2004 Dodge Durango blew the rod thru the block wall coming home from the grocery store less than a 1/4 from my home and I was only doing 25 miles an hour. I also was a religious person on changing my oil and keeping up with the maintenance on it. The truck only had a 190,000. I am now stuck finding a rebuilt motor because I can't afford a car payment at this time. So, choose wisely..

The intake temp sensor will either be a two wire sensor on the intake manifold or on the tube going to the throttle body. On a 3.9, 5.2, 5.9 it is on the passenger side front of the intake manifold. On a 3.6L it is on the air tube. As of current production, 2015, a Durango does not have a MAF sensor.

I have a 2001 Dodge Durango SLT with the 5.9L engine. The most common problem I've had with the front blower is that it will fail completely or only the high setting will work with the heater or AC.

This is caused by a blower resistor switch failure. The resistor switch is located under the passenger side of the dash above where a person's feet would rest. It is most difficult remove and install, but you can save up to $100 in labor if you can do it. Pepboys carries the part for about $20.

It indicates abnormal pressure in the power steering system. I haven't found a solution yet.

No the 4.7 and 5.2 can not be interchanged.

Start it up. Put the A/C on High .Slowly get off the gas. If it keeps running the Mass Air Flow Sensor needs cleaning. It's an easy job. Google it Shops charge about $ 100.00 . This is the first thing I would check.

Is a 4 cable connector at the rear side of the fuse box. Right side of the engine, is suppose to be under the battery. Some cars may have it some dont.

If you open the drivers door and look at the side of the dashboard, almost at the hinge, you should see a triangular shaped panel with a hole. stick your finger in the hole and pull toward the door. There's a fuse block there. There's a diagram of which fuses are there on the inside of the piece you pulled out. There is also one on the other side (passenger side) in the same fashion There are some more fuses under the hood. Those should me marked "Fuses".
