How do you change oil on 2005 Dodge Magnum?
The same as on other cars!! First find and remove the filter put a pan under it to catch the oil wait till it stops dripping then find and remove the oil plug located someplace on the oil pan with the pan moved under to catch that oil as well. Once it is no longer dripping then replace the plug and torque to specs replace the filter and tighten to require tightness then pour in the oil.
These aren't bad trucks. They just aren't very good trucks either. If you want gas mileage get a Ranger or an S-10. Even a full size will beat the Dakota for MPG. No major repair or maintenance issues if it's had proper care up to this point.
