Watch out for the front frame just behind the bumper. Plus the bumper and front sheet metal to frame mounting brackets. The boxed in front frame section tends to rust out bad.
A 2002 Dodge does have a cam sensor, but the 318 was not offered after 2001.
The circuit voltage is too high. Could be a failed sensor, wiring short, or PCM problem.
They tell me it is in the fuel tank. Like another answer, drop the tank to get to it.
If a car starts and then dies, it is possible that poor quality gasoline is being used. Another problem may be that the engine needs new spark plugs.
Remove the gas cap, and look for a Schroeder Valve on the fuel rail. If it has one use that to relieve pressure. If it has none then you just must be careful and expect spraying gas when disconnecting a fuel line.
For removing the fuel pump bolts on a 318, 360, 400, you would use a 1/2" socket. I used this to remove and install bolts on a 1977 Dodge Warlock with the 400 in it. Hope that helps.
very easy! I have this same van. Conversion van? Remove interior cowling, find distributor cap, the center most spark plug wire will lead you to the coil which should be in the front of the engine. You will probably need to access it from under the van unless you have smaller hands. Should have two or four bolts that are easy to remove and cost new at autozone for about $22.00. Even if it is not the right price to correct your problem it will increase fuel mpg if it was original. I went from 13 miles mpg with a/c on to almost 15/17 highway. If your problem was stalling at stop lights, and your belt is making noise, take it from me, change your serpertine belt AND PULLEY$110 in parts. Changing the belt and pulley solved my stalling problems. Ohh and have you changed the fuel pump/filter any time within the last 6 years, if not you may consider it. Hard to remove tank without spilling 6 gallons of gas but easy to install, just make sure to install new FORD fuel clips when you reinsert the fuel line to the fuel tank or you may have to remove the tank a few times after driving it around the block a couple time and it wont restart. Pepboys sells two clips for 2.99 and the second clip could replace the second fuel clip on the frame below the passenger door along the frame rail.
Driver side tail shaft of the transmission.

It is located in the fuel tank. That is where it is located on my 1978 Dodge van Tioga Motorhome 27 foot.
It is either a 42rh or a 46rh.
It is either a 42rh or a 46rh.
If the temperature of your car engine is still very high after stopping, the car cooling fan will continue to run, and the cooling fan will not work until the temperature drops.
The above answer comes from Suzhou Santian Precision Mould Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
the horn is located on the steering wheel along with the accel set button and cruise control button.
try using an old 12 point socket just about the size of the lock (you want a god tight fit) and a good size hammer watch you fingers in the next step as you will have to hold the socket over the lock and POUND the socket over the lock. use a ratchet if you haven't beat the socket so bad it won't accept a ratchet if so you will have to use a pipe wrench or something similar. the only other advice can give to you is take a good cold chisel and the hammer and bite into the edge of the lock in the direction to take it off (remembering that mopar vehicles use different rotations to remove).
IF you are trying to steal the tires or rims be advised that both these examples are very noisy and you WILL get caught before you can be successful.
I believe this did use to work in 1955, (what a load of old shite). Modern nuts have a spinning ring to stop this, plus most new locking wheel nuts don't have enough room round them between the nut and the rim. Just Google "locking wheel nut remover"..
Yes, usually stamped on a metal plate, which is riveted to the top of the RH frame rail right beside the starter motor and front body mount
Most cooling fans will stay on for a minute or so after turning off the car in warm weather. If they stay on past a minute or so, then there is a problem.
It is most likely the thermostat housing gasket or the bypass hose that runs from the water pump to the intake manifold.
Sure if you want to use lots of fuel and put extra wear on the engine.
If you are talking about the panel covering the gages and stereo, then all you need to do is get some kind of grip underneath an edge somewhere and the darn thing just pops off. I too have an '00 Ram 1500. I got a new CD player for chistmas '03 and couldn't figure it out. so i called a buddy of mine and sure enough. he just reached till he had a grip and it came off. It was like watching some take apart a snaptight model from walmart! and it went on the same way too! In all honestly its a nice design but too easy for someone to rip off a stereo as it happened to me.:-( but oh well, i got to clain it on my taxes so all ended well. :-) .
for How you can install the oil sending switch?" I take it that we are talking about an oil pressure switch wich located near the oil filter?
The right way to do this with a special socket or boxwrench, sometimes they are easy to reach and sometimes they put up a fight. Make sure you have the right sender remove the old one, install some plumbers tape on the thread, finger start the sender and tighten it, (not too tight) start the engine and check for leaks
