as with humans, dogs all have varying personalities. but if you are asking about breeds in general, from my personal experience; Old English Sheepdogs are very good with children and quite placid, pugs are very excitable although they can be difficult to train and some, granted not all pit bulls have an aggressive streak but watching one puncture a family members head is not fun.

You're doubling up on the genes, so whatever is behind those dogs, genetically speaking, is going to be amplified. By inbreeding, you are going to bring out the recessive genes that your dogs carry. So if, say, they both carry copies of a blindness gene, then it is likely the puppies will be blind. Or if mom's dad was a biter, by doubling up on that dog's genes, you are more likely to see it expressed in the litter. (ie, you'd be more likely to get biters.) Inbreeding is a very powerful tool. But it is best left to experienced breeders. One drawback to breeding such a litter is that you usually have to cull (euthanize or spay/neuter) a lot of puppies when undesireable genes pop up.

A couple reasons my dog was coughing was because she had a collapsed trachea, which didn't hurt her but there was irritation in the throat, causing her to cough. Another reason my dog coughs is because she has an enlarged heart, vertically, and so her heart pushes on her lungs, causing coughing. Another possibility could be allergies. Also make sure your dog likes the food, first of all. Most dogs especially like any kind of wet dog food, so try mixing some wet food with the dry, but not too much.

What I would do is just don't feed the dog any thing but leave the dog food out.........Then he/she will eventually go eat it...

you can give him/her the good food then if the dog wont eat it show him/her a piece of steak or something that she loves and drop it in the bowl that's is what i do with my dogs.

Another thing to do is to not leave food lying around for them all of the time. If you feed them only at specific times, they will become hungry if they miss one feeding. Then, at the next feeding time they will most likely eat their food.

In fact many "sweets" contain Xylitol which is poisonous to dogs.
