What is the temperament of a Ragdoll?
Tonkinese cat's social traits vary from cat to cat-with one common thread-everyone of them enjoys being with people. They can be vocal and talk away the day or be a bit of a thief with trinkets discovered-anywhere. Tonks do have many traits common with K9's-such as retrieving toys back to any willing "ball game" player.
They are trainable to do tricks, such as sit or high five if taught by a patient and gentle hand. They do have emotional tempers when treated roughly or ignored-and are duty bound to give equal payback-at a later time-when you least expect it by knocking over glasses of water or "tipping" something clearly breakable over-and will enjoy calmly watching your reactions of surprise when it crashes to the ground.
They have have deep and true hearts-with dedication shown to their owners, but will accept attention from houseguests. They will win the hearts of other housepets by action, never giving up attempts at friendship. They seem to enjoy lavishing attention on the most unwilling pet sidekick-until a bonding issues are resolved. Patience, tactile skill and planning are the Tonks strong suit for the unwilling dog-or cat housemate.
Tonkinese can enhance most peoples homes-with action and good humor, but do not do well if left alone for hours on end. Because of this needy tendency other house pets or a litter-mate would be advised. Lonely Tonkinese have high intelligence factors. When they are left alone to their own devices for hours on end-the promise unwelcome problems for their owner normally begin. Having one additional home pet sidekick distraction is normally is enough to keep the lonely Tonk busy-until the owner arrives.
Having a Tonk in your home-is not like having a docile "housecat". Having a Tonk in your home-is similar to inviting a real party animal-to live with you. Thankfully, this party animal has great beauty and will purr.
They can also have dog like personalitys. Most cats hate being rubbed on the tummy, and usually don't care if the doorbell rings. But Tonks do. They can go a bit crazy at night time to.

Why do tabbys have an m on their head?
There are many different theories for why some tabby cats have the "M" marking on their heads, and most of them have to do with religion. I could give you a couple.
-In Christianity, the "M" is said to be where Mary, mother of Jesus Christ, blessed a tabby cat when he(cat) comforted her baby(Jesus).
-In Islam, the theory is that the "M" stands for "Mohammad". Forgive me if I spelled it wrong.
So yeah that's pretty much all I got. If you want to know the biological reason, it's probably the same reason some people's hair is brown.

Can cats only see in black and white?
Cat's eyes have mostly rods and some cones, so theoretically they can perceive some colors, but they don't need to. They function on brightness more than colour, which makes it easier for them to see in the dark. The cat's pupil can open 3 times wider than a human's, allowing much more light in.
Cats are not color blind, however. They see some colors, but not all colors.
Cats seem to be able to distinguish between higher frequency colors, meaning cats respond to the colors purple, blue, green and possibly yellow range. Red, orange and brown colors appear to fall outside cats color range and are most likely seen as shades of grey or purple.
Purple, blue and green appear to be the strongest colors perceived by cats. Tests suggest cats can distinguish between more shades or levels of gray than can humans.

Do calico and Bombay cats get along?
They can but not if they both are boys they would fight a lot.
The above is not necessarily true... If you have a male Bombay, and had him for over one year, then got another adult male Bombay (not an Alpha) the pecking order should fall into play (even if your first Bombay is passive). The trick is to NEVER mix two alpha males together. If you obtain a Bombay then 6 months later get another one there can be fighting. Bombay cats go by pecking order because they are not totally independent cats. If another cat tries to "steal" their special humans attention, the other Bombay will seriously injure the other. Again Bombay's are NOT Like Most Cats. They tend to have "Dog like" traits also, although there is another trick. Get a kitten, Bombay's will tolerate all kittens and dogs.
