Sakeefa Bni Sa'ad was a place where people used to gather to discuss important matters. On the day the holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW passed away, the Head of the tribe Bani Sa'ad gathered some of the people belonging to his tribe and other Companions rau to discuss the nomination of the successor of the holy Prophet saw. It was evident that the Ansaar (the helpers) were about to select their Head the Caliph. When the news of this gathering reached Hazrat Umar rau, he reached there accompanied by Hazrat Abu Bakr rau and a few others. After some hot discussion, Hazrat Abu Bakar rau was elected the Caliph of the Rasool saw. The next day the general public, the holy Companions rau took oath of allegiance in the Masjid i Nabvi. Hazrat Abu Bakr rau became the First Rashidoon Caliph. He was the First adult man to accept Islam, closest friend of the holy Prophet saw, his father-in-law, the second in the Cave of Thore, and the holiest Companion whom the Prophet saw appointed to lead the Muslims in prayers during his final illness. He was rightly chosen the First Rashidoon Caliph.
Your roza can only be invalid if food or drinks pass through your esophagus. Therefore using toothpaste is allowed as long as doesn't pass your esophagus. In smoking however, the smoke does pass your esophagus and therefore makes your roza invalid. A huge part of Islam is resistance, which means you have to try to get to as close to perfection as possible even though you'll never be perfect. Sorry! The statement "Your roza can only be invalid if food or drinks pass through your esophagus." is not the whole truth. Allah Almighty doesn't want to keep us hungry for nothing. The purpose of Fasting (Roza) is attaining 'Piety' - Taqwa. Taqwa doesn't mean keeping hungry. It is a kind of restraint on our feelings and emotions. There are many sinful activities which make Raza invalid.

How do you advise the students to keep the class room clean?
Okay, well, every Muslim should know that they should be clean both from inside and outside. They learn to keep their hearts pure and clean of dirtiness (of cursing, hearing music, etc;) they learn from outside to keep their bodies clean (taking a shower, making wudu, etc;). But that's not the only thing that they learn to do. Every human (and Muslim) learns to keep their house tidy, clean, along with all their other belongings. If you are not Muslim, you can try bribing the students to clean their room, or you can just tell them it's for their own benefit. Make your students happy and they'll make you happy.

Scientific advantages of prayer of a Muslim?
The Islamic prayer consists of the following steps: # standing with hands on top of each other at chest level # bowing down with hands resting on knees # standing up from bowing with hands by the side # going in prostration (sajjda) once # lifting face up from prostration but sitting on the ground # doing a second prostration (Sajjda) and then getting up These psysical movements that a Muslim does during prayer strenghten the joints and muscles and stimulate blood circulation. Consequently, they also prevent the stagnation of bloog in the veins of the legs (which may lead to coagulation and other problems). Sajdah is a unique position or stance in the regular prayers, which a Muslim is supposed to offer at least five times a day. Although the basic purpose of obligatory prayers isn't to provide an exercise for people, it is being increasingly recognized that it has plenty of medical advantages. Sajdah is a unique position as this is the only position in which brain (or head) becomes lower than the heart and hence for the first time the blood gushes towards the brain with full force whereas in all other positions (even when lying) brain is above the heart when it has to work against gravity to send blood to the brain. In the position of Sajdah due to the increased blood supply the brain receive more nourishment and it has good effect upon memory, vision, hearing, concentration, psyche and all other cognitive abilities. People who offer their prayers regularly have more will power and can cope with the difficulties of life in a much better manner.
