Can eye floaters that are benign go away in young adults?
They do not go away. But are completely harmless. I have had floaters since I was 29. That was like 20 years ago.
Standard cataract surgerywith a monofocal intraocular lens (IOL) in the United States is covered by Medicare and most insurances. What is not included is some of the testing, the post-op refraction (exam for eyeglasses), and the additional fee for an "advanced IOL" (also known as "premium" IOLs, multifocal IOLs, presbyopia-correcting IOLs, pseudo-accommodating IOLs, toric IOLs etc.). The purpose of these advanced IOLs is to limit your need for glasses after surgery. If you don't care about wearing bifocals or trifocals or reading glasses after surgery, then the monofocal IOL covered by most insurance should be fine for you.
For someone who does not have insurance, the following is a typical breakdown:
Surgeon's fee: $1,700-$4,200
Surgery Center fee: $1,000-$2,000
Anesthesiologist's Fee: $300-$600
Additional Testing: $0-$1,200
Advanced IOL: $150-$1,000
Total Cost Range: $3,000-$9,000 (per eye, depending on IOL choice)

What is calcium buildup behind the eye and will it cause problems?
No, they infect the intestines, especially the anal area.
What are floaters in your eye have seen flashing light in that eye?
Talk to an eye doctor about them, they can explain that they are harmful and many people have them.
Why do floater look like specks are twriley things?
When tiny bits of the fluid in the eye called vitreous humor glob together, they cause these floaters to appear. As light enters the eye, it strikes upon these floaters and casts a shadow on the back of the eye. This is what you are seeing. They are completely harmless.

What causes calcium in the eye?
There are several different conditions that can cause calcium deposits in the eye. These include hypocalcemia, gout, renal failure, and chronic inflammation.
Can a hemorrhage behind the eye go away on its own?
I wouldn't take any chances so if you notice anything immediately consult a doctor.
No, floaters are debris suspended in the semiliquid vitreous humor that fills the eyeball, helping maintain it spherical shape. Everyone has some floaters.
Contacts have no effect on the development of floaters (nor do glasses) as they are outside the eyeball thus not in contact with the vitreous humor where the floaters are.
Are cataracts covered under workman's compensation?
I WORK CLOSELY ON A COMPUTER FOR AT LEAST 9 HOURS A DAY, AND HAVE DONE SO FOR AT LEAST THE LAST 5 YEARS. PRIOR TO TO THIS JOB I HAD NEVER HAD CATERACTS. AM I COVERED UNDER WORKMAN'S COMP IN FLORIDA?
The most common cause of floaters and flashes in the eye occur as people age. The gel may begin shrinking and causing strands inside of the eye that appear to be floaters. A less common cause of floaters could possibly be a retinal detachment.
Can bleeding in the eye be stopped with laser treatment?
In some cases yes, but that's up to your opthomologist (specialist for eyes.)
herein is the answer found on vodvos.com:
1. what is the bleeding reason?
hypertension caused, diabetic retinopathy caused, retinal detachment, ealse disease or trauma?
2. hypertension, diabetic caused, if the bleeding is small, no severe vetreous body opacity, laser treatment is allowed.
3. retinal detachment and ealse disease need urgent surgery.
4. trauma, severe vetreous body opacity need vetrectomy surgery.
How do you remove a stuck or frozen O2 sensor?
Try warming the car by letting it run for a short time, but not letting it get hot. Also something like WD40 sprayed down in there overnight will help.
Never Use WD40 unless you are absolutely sure the sensor is U/S. The silicon in wd40 will adversely affect the O2 sensor operation.
floaters form from solid vitreous fluid in the eye when you were a baby as you age it dissolves
Why do I see bugs that aren't really there?
Eye floaters are usually nothing to worrying about. They sometimes just happen for practically no reason. If they continue for a long time or u see flashes of light it could mean there is something more serious. U may want to see a doctor if they persist for a long time. They could be a sign of a torn retina. (I'm not a doctor obviously so look up more info on a medical website if u have concerns).
If a 13 year old has Eye Floaters what should he do?
He should get an eye checkup. 13 is quite young to be getting floaters. So a checkup would be a good idea.
What Medicine for your eye when you see black spots?
See a licensed Optometrist, this may or may not be a serious vision threatening condition- only a doctor can tell for sure
Contact lenses have come a long way since the glass lenses of old. with the introduction of silicone hydrogel materials contact lenses are less reactive than ever. there is no chemical or physical processes that can fuse the lenses to your eye, and the membrane covering the eye keeps anything from floating around to the side or back of the eye. The latter is less of a concern anyway since the shape of the lenses keeps them centered on your eye. They can become dried out which makes them very difficult to take out.
