I actually had a miscarriage recently (at 2 weeks preg.) I bled and that same day I noticed what looked like a tiney baby ant (2 black specks) clung together by a gooey gel type substance. I'm assuming this had been the embryo or "blastocyst".. or perhaps a part of it. It was a no bigger than the tip of a match.

by the 3rd you should have a pretty good idea of the times when your baby is most active, and it is still perfectly normal not to feel him move for a few hours. although if you don't feel movement for more that 24 hours I would recommend you going to see your doctor, as it could be something wrong. it's not as big a deal in the 2nd trimester because you still don't feel Every movement baby makes so he could be moving and you might not be feeling it... try relaxing for an hour or so and pay close attention to your belly, rub or massage your belly or listen to some music to encourage him to wake up and move !
