Empty sac yoke sac seen but no fetal pole at 7 and a hafe weeks will you see it at your next scan in a weeks time?

HI!

It just so happens I had an ultrasound at 6 1/2 weeks no fetal pole (done transvaginally) and just today they found a baby with heartbeat at at 7 weeks 1 day. I spent days worrying however after doing much research on the internet, from other women going through the same experience, sometimes it can't be detected till after 8 weeks because it's so small. I did have some minor spotting too which the doctor said wasn't anything to worry about however I think that you should pray and wait it out until the next visit. If you haven't showed any signs of a miscarriage (bleeding or loss of pregnancy symptoms) chances are everything will be fine in your other scan. Other instances could involve blighted ovums or molar pregnancy however your chances seem pretty good. Best of Luck!

What is the chance of miscarriage if a healthy fetus is seen on an ultrasound at 10 weeks 3 days?

==Answer == Most miscarriges occur before twelve weeks. One of the most common causes of miscarriage is a blighted ovum, this is where the egg is fertilized but doesn't develop properly. In this instance there is never a fetal heart detected, so the fact that they have seen the heart is a good sign. There are many other factors to consider, such as if you have had a previous miscarriage, and how many. If you have a history of miscarrige, minimal physical activity, no sex, no medications other than those given by your doctor, etc. will increase your odds of carrying the fetus to term.

If there is no heartbeat in 8 weeks pregnancy?

If there is no heartbeat by 8 weeks then you should schedule an ultrasound to make sure the baby is healthy. If you already had an ultrasound then chances are you might miscarry. There is no medical treatment to keep you from miscarrying, and it isn't your fault in anyway if that is the case so don't blame yourself and keep trying.

Haven't felt the baby move in 2 days is that normal?

This depends on how far along you are. If you are worried, contact your doctor. Try laying down on your left side. Babies are most active when you are not.

Is it normal feel less fetal movement at 36 weeks?

At 36 weeks, your baby has grown considerably and because there is less space in utero, it is more difficult for the baby to move. However, kick counts should be done on a regular and daily basis. If you feel like the baby has been moving less or not at all, contact your doctor immediately for consultation and advice. Many times they will monitor your baby's activity to make sure all is well. Most of the time everything is ok but it's always better to be safe than sorry.

What are signs of a healthy horse?

A healthy horse should be alert and recognize what's going on around him. His eyes should be clear, and have nothing oozing from them. He should be able to open and close his eyes easily. His nostrils should be clear and free of discharge. His ears should move around, to wherever he hears something interesting. His ears shouldn't have mites or warts inside them. (Gross!) You should be able to feel his ribs when touching his barrel but you shouldn't see them. If you can see his ribs clearly he is too skinny! If you touch any part of their body, including legs, the horse shouldn't flinch. His legs should not be hot or swelling. When walked in-hand the horse should have his weight all four legs evenly, and shouldn't be limping or dragging any feet. His coat, mane and tail should be shiny and even. You can tell a horse's health not only by looking at him and touching him, but also by observing. A healty horse will eat and drink willingly. (They don't have to drain the bucket, but they should be drinking.) If he shows no interest in what's going on around him, he may be sick. One of the best ways to tell if a horse is sick is to remember how he acts usually (eg., how much he drinks, how energetic he is, ect.) and then compare it to how he is acting on any particular day. There are many different signs as to how you can tell a horse is healty. I suggest getting a book (I've heard "All Horse Systems Go" is a good one) to make sure that your horse isn't experiencing symptoms of anything.

You are three months pregnant and you just found out you have been partying are you in trouble?

It depends on what kind of "partying" you have been doing. Your best bet is to stop doing any sort of drugs or alcohol right away. Make sure you seek professional prenatal care, and be honest with your doctor.

What does it mean if a fetus has a small belly at thirty weeks?

You should ask your doctor about this as he/she will have adequate information about your pregnancy and ultrasonography. A possible cause of small belly is due to undernourishment. As the nutrients from the mother deteriorates, fetus will use up nutrient from the liver thus causing the abdomen to become smaller.

When you are 8 weeks pregnant if you can't see a heart beat on scan and your hCG levels are dropping Does that mean you will have a miscarriage?

I'm so sorry, but yes, at eight weeks - hCG levels should still be rising and the heart beat should be clearly visible on a scan.

The tissue may be absorbed or you will pass it during what most likely will be similar to a heavy - crampy period. If you don't start having a flow your doctor may suggest doing a D & C, I would request another sonogram and a last hCG level to be sure the level has dropped and the heart beat is not evident before the D & C, if there is any question in your mind.

Usually a miscarriage this early is due to severe abnormalities - and is not an indication of infertility or your ability to get pregnant or to carry a pregnancy.

Can epilepsy be detected in a fetus?

It is not detected in a foetus and it would not be looked for. Epilepsy is diagnosed by someone having recurring seizures. It is not a disease like an infection that can be detected. People are not necessarily born with Epilepsy. Epilepsy is a generic term that covers a wide range of problems that cause seizures. Anyone that has seizures gets them for their own particular reasons. Not everyone gets them for the same reasons. A person could be in an accident and receive a head injury and as a result start to have seizures. Seizures come from a wide range of causes and a wide range of severity. Flashing lights are known to cause seizures, but that is only in about 3% to 5% of people who have Epilepsy, not all people who have it.
