What kind of fish change colors?
Goldfish do not change gender whatsoever.
There are fish that do, such as a clown fish (Nemo); they are all males from birth, and when it becomes breeding season, they pair off and one becomes female. How they decide that is unknown (and perhaps a great argument?!)
No they can not. but if you are trying to breed them i suggest you buy more gold fish, make sure that the females do not over populate the males or they will fight amounst themselfs and also make sure there is a plant or fake plant for them to lay their eggs in. Once the eggs hatch you might want to move the baby goldies out so that the other fish dont eat them. Also dont over crowd your goldfish they will certainly not breed if over crowded i suggest putting them in a filtered tank say 20 gallons? Good luck!
